THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Cynic the clients or anyone else involved in the matter I think should be tried and if found guilty also convicted. This country is a soft touch to crimes committed against both women and children. We seam to spend more time and money on racial harrassment due to the noise it makes and the ease the media can get involved.

N . and SK.

Reminds me of Josephine Baker and the Rainbow Tribe and balmy nights near Chateau de Mildandes in the Dordogne.

Wish I was that young again for a few weeks.

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:21 - 20152 of 81564

ok, let's have a bit of fun ......
assuming consenting adults, does anyone object to prostitution?

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:22 - 20153 of 81564

fred - if cromagna(!) women were similar, i'ld happily be associated!

Davai - 15 Jan 2013 16:25 - 20154 of 81564

Looks like i picked the wrong time to try to change the subject (

Shortie - 15 Jan 2013 16:27 - 20155 of 81564

Cynic, post 20154, I'd answer No.

Haystack - 15 Jan 2013 16:27 - 20156 of 81564

deny the charges against them

doesn't that mean innocent until proven otherwise?

2517GEORGE - 15 Jan 2013 16:27 - 20157 of 81564

3M You're in the wrong country for that to happen, the outcome is likely to be that the victims will be charged with drink/sex/drug offences and the guilty will be afforded all the counselling they require in order that they can be returned to society with compensation payments for hurt feelings.

Is that picture a lady boy Fred. :-))

Fred1new - 15 Jan 2013 16:28 - 20159 of 81564

What forms of prostitution?

Body?

Mind?

Politics?

Forced?

Profession?

"Life" choice?

For money?

UMMMH.

Knowing not knowing?

Consensual?

Mutual gain for money or other "rewards".

Life is a sod.

3 monkies - 15 Jan 2013 16:33 - 20165 of 81564

More than likely 2517.

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:37 - 20166 of 81564

ignoring fred, as one tends to do, we'll take it that the consensus is that prostitution between consulting adults is acceptable

in that case, why should running a brothel be illegal, again always with the presupposition that there is no coercion for the girls to work/stay there?

and to take it a little further, using the same caveat as above, why should "living off immoral earnings" be illegal - which i think only applies to the brothel owner or similar?

Fred1new - 15 Jan 2013 16:39 - 20167 of 81564

Hays,

Just a plea.

------------

Dreams,

Make you own choice, I don't suffer from any such confusion.

--------

But if you are near Sarlat or La Roque Gageac in the Dordogne have look on a warm day from the gardens over the Dordogne Valley.

I would like to live there.

dreamcatcher - 15 Jan 2013 16:43 - 20168 of 81564

skinny - 15 Jan 2013 16:45 - 20169 of 81564
