No problem soul traders - but I doubt very much you have the amount invested that I do, so there is no point in me lying!
We all want them to succeed and I was only trying to put a view forward that obviously doesn't sit well with you!
Take it or leave it.

Ssanebs is usually accurate.
So my comment about next week could be right - but I could be lying to some!!!

around 17/8 (i think) I posted saying I was unhappy with the timeing of seo's release re financing. I believed they were shafting PI's by giving shorters and the MM's the opportunity to drive the sp down , thus allowing select investors to buy back at very low prices.
SEO's long term prospects are still sound , hence I have'nt sold (also i brought most of my shares years ago-so I'm only sitting on a small loss). I feel sorry for those who have lost big.
I would'nt at all be surprised to hear now, that deals are done and the necessity for a placement/rights issue has passed.
This may be wishful thinking on my part.... time will tell. Either way rideing this storm, like the last.....up or bust.

Great sense of humour re: sylvia - however with the price of gas been so high I am sure there are more cost effective ways!!!!
She has been on holiday and is back monday so Tuesday would fit.
Actually I would not want her job for anything - indeed she has been excellent in a very difficult time - she will probably end up in politics.

ssanebs you must have friends in high positions at SEO to know that. Do you still have confidence in SEO? I have always looked to your input as someone who could be trusted with what they said. I really hope SEO can turn this around.

My guess is that there will be an RNS next week as this coincides with the Sustainable Packaging Forum in the USA(Sep26-28) which is co-hosted by Stanelco & Tetrapak.
Keynote speech by Tyler Elm Senior Walmart director on the 27th.
Would tie in nicely with statement along the lines that Walmart has decided to up its Green/Sustainable programme & has signed contracts with SEO.
Pure speculation on my part but would be nice.
I dont think funding will be an issue shortly.
For the brave these are the times to make huge profits.
DYOR & Bon Chance to all long term holders.

we are not on speaking terms now, i have lost 350k, and my last e-mail to seo i asked if they could tell me which director had a previous conviction, to which i got no reply. Evolution gave that as one of the reasons for dropping seo. i also stated that i would report them for misleading me, telling investors that commercialisation was imminent, and i invested another 50k on that statement.

To put it very politely your posts are ridiculous rubbish without any foundation and pure extravagant and unrealistic figments of your over active imagination.
For the sake of reason and balance and fairness to all whether bullish or bearish on this stock, cut it out.
And don't reply with "I have a right to post my views" rubbish.

Placing of New Ordinary Shares: 2nd June 2006
The Board of Stanelco plc, the radio frequency (RF) applications group, is pleased to announce the conditional placing by Teather & Greenwood of 46,939,939 ordinary shares ("New Ordinary Shares") at a price of 8.1p per share to raise approximately GBP 3.8 million (approximately GBP 3.7 million after expenses).
I am not sure but does the article mean that some investor has invested 3.7 Mn?

No, Teather & Greenwood could have placed them with one or more investers,
its old news and any list would now be outdated.

Whoever bought the placement has probably sold the shares and this may explain the continued fall. Investors who buy into these placements often plan on unloading the stock pretty quickly.

Pension271, Aldwickk is right. The placement shares would in all likelihood have gone to a number of institutional investors following a roadshow or series of presentations to existing holders and possible newcomers.
The RNS should not be taken to mean that only one investor bought the whole lot.
The current major shareholders are as per list below, assuming my online broker has up-to-date records.
Stanelco PLC
Major Shareholders
Shares in issue: 996.3m 0.1p Ords
Major Shareholders Amount % Holding
Age of Reason Foundation 217,078,122 23.12
Richards & Appleby Ltd 73,371,681 7.82
Barclayshare Nominees Ltd 60,892,255 6.49
Waterhouse Nominees Ltd 35,969,831 3.83
L R Nominees Ltd 31,507,514 3.36
FMR CORP and Fidelity Int Ltd 29,348,700 3.11
Other Directors Amount % Holding
Philip Albert Lovegrove 4,577,083 0.488
Ian H Balchin 1,640,000 0.175
= Director
FWIW: Funnily enough, with the exception of Fidelity, who buy almost everything but usually make it pay handsomely, there are no names on the list that I would recognise as institutional custodians - i.e. those that look after the assets of pension funds. I take this to mean that most of SEO is in the hands of PI's and that institutional shareholdings are small and spread thinly, hence the representation of the "nominees" accounts.
Perhaps somebody could comment on this view and correct me if I'm wrong. In any case there are few holders of more than 3% of SEO's stock. If I was at work I'd see if my firm was carrying anybody's SEO shares, but I'm not so I can't.
Just a thought, don't take it too seriously.
