THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I bet if you put a blind fold on and was not told the meal that you were about to eat,
9 out of 10 meals would be good meals. Its the thought, somewhat like the many mouldy and green looking cheeses.

dreamcatcher - 17 Jan 2013 10:10 - 20274 of 81564

And of course a peg on the nose for the cheese. :-))

One can blind fold persons and ask them (people who are drinkers) to taste several drinks one including water and 9 out of 10 will get something wrong. Try it sometime at a party and what an educational laugh you will have.

The son of an illegal immigrant asks his dad, "Dad, what's democracy?"

"Well, son, that's when English work and we get all the benefits from it!"

"But Dad, aren't the English people unhappy about that?"

"Sure they are son, but that's called 'racism.'"

3m - calves' foot jelly was fed to those too ill to hold down much or similar, i'ld guess through to the mid 50s ..... like the ubiquitous chicken soup, it was nourishing and had other beneficial properties too .... i think you may still see calves' feet in butchers in germany and further east, but almost never in uk ..... of course pigs' trotters are readily available everywhere other than golders green et al!

Following the news that Tesco have been adding copious amounts of horse meat to their burgers comes the news that Zebra meat has been found in all their barcodes.

Upon return, he moved to Blackpool to continue preying on youngsters
'Sadistic' paedophile went to church group to offer teenagers sewing work

A mother and her seven children have been jailed for 15 years for converting back to Christianity from Islam in Egypt.

Nadia Mohamed Ali was raised a Christian but converted to Islam 23 years ago when she married Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab Mustafa.

Following his death, she planned to convert back to her original faith, along with the rest of her family.

But a criminal court in Beni Suef, in central Egypt, sentenced them to jail for 15 years last week, according to reports.

Seven other people, who were involved in the case, were also sentenced to five years in jail.

Human rights advocates have now warned the sentence is a sign of things to come in Egypt under the Islamist government, according to Fox New
