THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

We have been spoilt in the South East, not really used to winters over the last 10 years. You will have to head off to the sun this year again. Is that a house or horse.
I do not want to hear a horse or buger joke for another 10 years, lol.

dreamcatcher - 20 Jan 2013 19:45 - 20379 of 81564

Still snowing here.

Been thinking - which is dangerous for me but we haven't heard from kim lately, I do hope all is well - the last I heard you were affected with the torrential rain which we had some few weeks ago. Just let us know if you are okay sometime when it is convenient to you. Trust you are in good health.

Glad you picked up on kims message I missed it. Congratulations kim. There's a Moose aloose about this hoose is a Scottish saying, nothing to do with horses - the barbaric episode of the poor horses has turned me more than sick and am appauled that none of my friends or associates have heard anything about it. What truly upsets me is how many more are being slaughtered and the reasons why. This country is supposed to love animals. Ah! well night night.

dreamcatcher - 20 Jan 2013 20:10 - 20384 of 81564

Good night 3m. Moose aloose. lol

3monkies, it isn't just horses that get badly abused in this country. I have just taken on a 6 year-old Springer Spaniel as a rescue dog. She was shut in a shed for 6 years and used for breeding purposes. She is the second rescue dog I have adopted. Rescue dogs all have similar problems in that they have terrible ear mites because of the conditions they are housed in and they are seriously undernourished. These dogs usually get dumped from the puppy farms they are housed in because they develop serious health problems or because they become too old to breed from. Puppy farms should be abolished in this country, it's appalling that the owners of these places make so much money and totally neglect the dogs in their care.

Nice to read doodlebug4 about your dog.

3 monkies - 20 Jan 2013 21:25 - 20387 of 81564

doodlebugg4 think about the above which you have written - the horses were abused nearly beaten to death and hung to die. I have had Springer Spaniels all my life bread them and had go give my last one up because whenst her dad - my partner split up I had to give her up because the fact was:- some humam bastard worked me over so I could not continue to walk her as she needed contious excercise which I could not provide - I know she is okay. Love Her Dearly she was 12 on the 6.01.13. As there is a need for people like you to take in rescue dogs I would suggest carry on the good work. One has also got to remember why Spaniels were bread for working dogs and I know for a fact that some of my pups were shot by their so god dam fucking owners because they did not Perform. So Be It.

3 monkies - 20 Jan 2013 21:41 - 20389 of 81564

Not at all DC and it is not until one get older that one has to come to full terms, loss and understanding..

dreamcatcher - 20 Jan 2013 21:46 - 20390 of 81564

I will say good night again 3m, Moose aloose. lol

3 monkies - 20 Jan 2013 21:50 - 20391 of 81564

night night dc.

cynic - 20 Jan 2013 22:12 - 20392 of 81564

bread spaniels????
is that in the same genre as chocolate eggs?

and very sorry you had found yourself a violent partner .... hope you have not repeated the trick as so many women do

Fred1new - 20 Jan 2013 22:54 - 20393 of 81564

If you put your hands on my dog I will shoot you.

kimoldfield - 21 Jan 2013 00:39 - 20394 of 81564

Thanks for the concern and the congrats 3m! All is well with grandson and weather. We have had very little snow here, which is good because St Asaph has suffered enough from bad weather recently. I hope you are feeling better.

3 monkies - 21 Jan 2013 06:50 - 20395 of 81564

Breed, bred not bread and you were correct to pick me up on the spelling mistake. The violent partner (not a partner of mine) was a drug addict/shop lifter which I arrested and it back fired as he became extreley violent - enough of that. Feeling slightly better thanks kim - and glad all is well with you.

3 monkies - 21 Jan 2013 07:35 - 20396 of 81564
