GOLDFINGERS STOCK PICKS. (CLAS)

goldfinger - 03 Nov 2003 01:07

Hi Guys back of Holiday but not yet really settled down. Needed the break as I havent had a holiday in 5 years. Just been resting up at home.

Back to the stocks. Well lets face it last week was a stinker, simple as that. Interest rates hike hanging over the market and the tiddlers getting hurt most as all of the extra cost will fall to the bottom line. Lets hope for a better week.

Update on stocks.

I D DATA- hoping for this one to carry on from Friday and start to rise again. About 4 weeks to results so we may get a good run plus a contract win is get to be confirmed.

INCITE HOLDINGS - strange happenings at this company last week but apparantley big orders were being filled for institutional players, in fact a pal of mine on another site who is a big holder was contacted to see if he wanted to sell any of his holding and he gave them a quick no chance answer.

BEMA GOLD - fell back by about 10 points last week on averageish results. Fact of the matter is that a Miner should be judged on NAV and not earnings, due to physical nature of the business.

JUST CAR CLINICS - TA uptrend in place and company released two very interesting pieces of news on its web site that should see further support.

CENTURION ELECTRONICS - gave back a bit of ground last week but uptrend trully in place.

HCEG - another that gave ground back last week but there was some good news later in the week refering to warrants. Seems holders on a certain date will be awarded a warrant for every XXX share held . Ask me in the morning.

PIPEX - changed name last week had an up and down week but I added yet again. Great growth potential here.

NEW RECOMMENDATION

Going to go in for SCI ENTERTAINMENT SEG in the morning. Saturday paper confirmed that trading was well in front of budget and this backed up what Evil Knievil had been saying last week. EK feels that this is one of the cheapest stocks on the Whole Market, and we should get a good run up to Xmas with the new Desert Storm offering (sorry not an expert on games).
DYOR and if you buy watch the spread in the first hour or so, the MMS read the newspapers just like us, dont get sucked in. Remember you are responsible for your own buy and sell actions, we dont want any whimps complaining if they lose money. Only use money that you camn afford to lose and remember this is investing. If you want a quick fix, I suggest you go down to your local bookies , casino or boozer and play on the one armed bandit. We are all adults.

gf.

ps, sorry forgot Service Power Tech - special update on that sometime monday.

ThirdEye - 24 Nov 2003 23:51 - 204 of 227

Btw Sinutab I have mentioned these concerns before.

I have worked in the Accident repair industry.

Legislation is getting tougher (More filtering etc required to european standards) as are insurance companies, they sometimes limited us to just a 10% margin on parts whereas normally we would get 25% to 33%.

I wonder if that is one the reasons that margins have fallen to 3.2% (besides the good weather) ?

goldfinger - 25 Nov 2003 00:18 - 205 of 227

Yup wansford was a pro trader up until 2000, when i took profits and bought a business in industrial cleaning/ property maintenance. You will often see me posting late at night as we work when everyone else is in bed. I do still tend to get about 8 hours a day in investing but no trading now, just not enough time.

Yup the thread has gone downhill, will open a new one and bring up the JCR thread so that the bears and bulls can argue to their hearts content.

Been many a time to Glastonbury, please dont ask.

Nice to have met you.

cheers Gf.

Goldfinger(ex royalmarine, airline pilot, solicitor, international pornstar,Economist/Accountant,highpowered business man,). The only professional trading you have ever done is on a saturday afternoon from your 1 for anything marketstall,i cant believe so many people are getting taken in from an arrogant pompus tit like yourself,no doubt they will eventually learn probably too late, when they have lost their shirts, and once again you will have to go and find another bb (if there are any left that havent banned you already)Wake up people are you all really that dumb.

Did you not say that last month you were 58,000 pounds ahead and on another thread that has been deleted did you not say that you were 1,200,000 pounds up so far this year.
I am getting confused...
Hopping.

Sooze - 25 Nov 2003 08:44 - 210 of 227

What has any of the above got to do with anything?

Grow up and stop clogging the thread with crap!

Riviera - 25 Nov 2003 09:16 - 211 of 227

WOW!!

What a BB

My first and last post on here. Back to ShareCrazy which I thought was getting bad.

Scottie - 25 Nov 2003 12:11 - 212 of 227

As someone comparitively new to this bulletin board I find a post like the one by metooxx compeletely offensive.

azhar - 25 Nov 2003 16:57 - 213 of 227

Wat's happeining to ZOO and IDD going down like a rocket

scotinvestor - 07 Jun 2004 13:44 - 214 of 227

virtually all the shares tipped on this have been terrible that were chosen. Ok, so some were top sliced or sold altogether (at a loss) but the list seems to be savagely beaten up. I've got 2 of those shares that were mentioned so will need to keep for future.

Your share tipping is awful goldfinger

angi - 07 Jun 2004 14:36 - 215 of 227

When buying/selling these tiny companies beware that they can drop as quickly as they rise and if you buy at the top you risk short traders hopping on for the ride down. Some of them have good business plans, great ideas and will perhaps turn into great companies one day but if the bigger market falls, these will be hammered. If you're hoping to make a quick buck do your own research and don't complain to the messenger. It was 3 Nov 2003 when Golfinger posted, loads of other companies that were soaring at the time have now collapsed but some of them will be back. Has your research told you which ones?

ThirdEye - 07 Jun 2004 15:54 - 216 of 227

Which ones scotinvestor?

That's one reason I invest in Ofex although illiquid prices hold up well, investors seem to look at Ofex shares more long term, also many move to more liquid markets which is often when Ofex investors sell hopefully for a large gain & keep some for free, when others are just buying in.

scotinvestor - 07 Jun 2004 15:57 - 217 of 227

I did do research on companies that i invested in but 1 of them, i was swayed with what gf wrote - one of the gold shares

I noticed someone way back slagging off gf on his share tips and to be aware of him. And I have to agree with this guy.
Why does so many people listen to gf. Its as if he's god.

Fred1new - 07 Jun 2004 17:05 - 218 of 227

Because a lot of people live in hope and believe the world is really a nice place!!!

Scotinvestor, playing your silly games once again I see. I note that you have not brought up the last version but the one before, misleading people once again. You should have read the posts going back months were I warned that positions were being closed because of the geopolitical problems. The wise ones on this board know that you are posting under an alias, just how many have you got???????????????????.

I for one made an excelent return on the portfolio and so should the astute investor, and it is not my duty to change your nappy each day. I always remind investors that it is their duty for the timing of their own Buying and selling actions. You could have made a lot of money and if a paticular bad situation arose like the fiddling at JCR and also the profit warning at ZOO I flagged it up and told the story as it was and did not gloss over the cracks,I can accept when I have got it wrong. Pity you didnt take the 418% gain in Caldwell, pity you didnt take the 109% gain in datacash, pity you didnt take a 70% gain in Centurion, pity you didnt takea 50% plus gain in African Eagle and Bema, they were there to be taken alongside countless others. I even encouraged people to sell and take profits although holding myself when the fall took place after.

If you cant stand the heat you know what they say.

GF.

Hi goldfinger,

Why do you tip / stock pick ?

rgds aj

goldfinger - 08 Jun 2004 10:31 - 222 of 227

Hi Ajren, because its an hobby really and helps fill in the day as I run my business during the night.

I like to think that I can offer some of the younger less experienced investors a helping hand in what can be a cut throat business. Passing on this experience gives me for one great satisfaction.

I also like the freindships and exchange of ideas aswell that can develop on boards like this, sometimes they can last for years.

cheers GF.

ps, ajren this thread was closed down months ago, and superceeded by a new one.

McPaulass - 08 Jun 2004 12:55 - 223 of 227
