Now we are seeing SAT-NAV and in-car DVD and LCD SCREENS being fitted by car owners These are considered luxury items still or add-on kits.

We are now seeing SAT-NAV and in-car entertainment systems being fitted to more and more new cars, this will be the expected norm in the future.

With yet another contract added again today I feel that Designer Vision Ltd is the stock to back and get in early on the car entertainment boom.

Unlikely, which is a shame because they had some decent contracts. But a poor boss.

Surely if you have bought shares they are still valid although you can't trade them.

DVS.L code went invalid on Reuters today.

Just try charting it or getting a quote on a financial web site - say MoneyAm or iii. It is effectively unlisted!

The DVS website is still running but was last updated in March 2006.

Is there anyone we can ask, maybe there is a restructuring going on, or maybe a buy-out?

Surely this is dead isn't it? It's gone into administration, existing shareholders won't get anything back as far as I can see.

I read on RNS that they had gone into administration, shares suspended, but they were trying to save the company

So fingers, toes, legs, etc. crossed

The investors won't see anything from their shares.

And you know this because...

Because this scenario happens time after time and all the shareholders hope and hope that they will get a payout - they do not. How many times have companies gone into administration and the shareholders have received anything?

It is confirmed that HTK USA the Californian based automotive OEM supplier of "In Car Entertainment" systems with manufacturing plants in the US, China and Taiwan and a subsidiary of Hamg Shing International Corporation, has acquired the entire business and assetts of Designer Vision Automotive (DVA).

The deal will see DVA become the European division of HTK USA and will allow the company to grow significantly within the European OEM sector, as a manufacturer of high end automotive products HTK is a global leader in the supply of RSE systems and other auto related products to the worlds leading car manufacturers.

I hold in a nominee acc have just phoned brokers who say they have heard nothing but will investigate. Just noticed that when you enter DVS's web site it opens in other company's

My shares have been valued now at 0.01 each so I now have a value on them for the 1st time in ages.

I noticed that too My broker rang back said they didn't know what was happening suggested I ring the take over company which I did they were to ring me back. Will ring again today. Going out now.

I emailed them but no reply so far.

Rang again Apparently Number on web site is not HTK ( Take over company) Girl is passing on message to DV. Rang broker they say they think we will eventually be told. So I suppose we will just have to wait. Would like to think we could salvage something from this.
