Tanfield Group is the new company name of Comeleon. As I understand it, Comoleon was getting into trouble so TAN (paerent company?) took over. Since this has happened the share price has dropped by 0.25p each day for the last week or so (on average) and are now around the 3p mark with very little activity.
Does anyone know much about this company or previously held stock in Comeleon? There is virtually no info out there other than on the company website.
cheers
Mike

from a chart point of view, though sp had surged to about 210, it has currently pulled back though the critical 200p mark

2 things ..... auction prices are often nonsense, and in this prticular case, i think it is relevant that sp has still not closed above 200 ..... assuming the markets do not collapse (see caveat on TA thread), then there may only be 15/20p downside here, but i cannot see what will give any upward impetus in the immediate future.

cynic - agreed - especially seeing as over 1 million trades went through above the Uncrossing after close :-)

Hi guys, heard a nasty rumour that TAN may be going down to 1. I hope not for all holders but keep a watchful eye on it. Please dont have a go at me, as I am only repeating something that I heard about from another BB.

looks more like a time to buy to me with sp now nestling on 50 dma ....... prob is the very nervous market so a bit wary of putting money back in, albeit that i took my profit in TAN a week or two back at rather higher levels

TAN sitting on trendline support at 175p. Incidentally, no-one answered my question re does the production of 500 vehicles per year support a SP of 2?

Tweaked that support to 173p. falls through here that's a longish term channel broken and don't see much support until 150p. Any buyers now are gambling on a bounce.

md, wish I knew how to spot those. I guess the simple ones are those that keep reloading at the same qty, the clever ones no doubt reload differently, could be an 'iceberg' order as well.

The issue of 77m shares would logically have the same effect as a 4:5 consolidation which would, in normal circumstances, reduce the SP to circa 1.45: not normal circumstances however so I cannot see why a fall to 1 should be rumoured unless it is to deramp (not pointing the finger at you Oilyrag).

"does the production of 500 vehicles per year support a SP of 2".................Hmmm, how long is a piece of string?! An Edison panel van costs around 38k including 2 batteries, an additional battery to give extra mileage would cost a further 8k. Not cheap but the cost advantages per mile against diesel is 17p, so that is a saving on just a single commercial vehicle averaging only 500 miles a week of 4,420 per year which, together with all the advantages which go with it, is a major selling point. I know, doesn't answer your question but
does show the potential for attracting sales. The company is expanding, costs will be higher initially but should be recouped from sales following increased capacity.
It may be a little too soon to be looking at a 2 SP but the future of Tan is surely rosy; Smith Electrical Vehicles have been around for 87 years and today's 'Green' market is more than ready to take them on board in a major way.
