What does everybody think at the opening of the dow. It seems primed to me to go up in the first few hours of trade

Orky I feel they will try to push prices higher but it will be short lived.I would day it is safer to short the mini rallies that it produces.

Ig index site is down so am using the capital spreads one.What a piece of bother sometimes malkes u wonder if its deliberate as at the end of the day they are kind of Bookies and will use any trick in the book to be qualified as "crooks" I think we should name some market days as "crooksdays" when it is blatantly obvious whats going on.

Managed a quick 70pts on the dow and out just watching.
As i said earlier it is safer to short the mini rallies.

Where is everybody today? All the threads are quiet -just going to nip in Gds Cafe and cause a bit of Havoc.

The support at 9915 held very well and gave a good bounce.But i didnot take the trade.I have shorted it from the top again and am watching now to see if it retests the 9915.And this time if holds may just take a small scalp long.
Thats the plan lets see if it pans out.

Hi, Zarif. Just looking in. Had a few points from Cable earlier, but not brave enough to risk the Dow. You have to be so quick and decisive - and I'm not, at least I don't think I am; not sure! By the way I don't think my IG went down today. Suspect the Dow may well dive later - but I only follow trends, and not what I think any more. Cos I'm always wrong!

markp, I have been updating it at the weekends lately but will update on new signals from now on.
I'm going to be keeping an eye on wall street again especially towards September 1st.

Afternoon all:
I think we are due for and upday today.If the market opens neutral than going up markedly. If Gaps open higher than will be a bearish scenario with trading low to sideways and than making a move higher towards close. Watch 15.30 for change.

Regarding trading the dow etc, there is nothing wrong with you as a trader -you are a good trader.
You are right about trading what you see and not what you feel. I think the best method is to say to yourself " IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT I THINK -BUT WHAT THEY ARE THINKING".

75 pts on the dow so far and am locking in profits.
The cable is still in profit but have given back 48pts -but my feeling uis that later in the evening it will go for the gighs again-not too worried on that as its dec contract.

Got out of the cable earlier with a decentt profit that was locked in from last week.
I have gone long again cable as it fell 180pts.I think it will probabaly rally late afternoon towards close or tomorrow.
Gone short crude oil at $42 -this is just a punt and first time as i know zilch about oil but the chart looked good for a short.

120 points on the dow today.
Going to have a cuppa tea and than watch the market for opps after 7pm -7.30 as i feel we might have a turn or rocket up towards close.
The cable has taken a nose dive by 210 pts and i am still holding my long as its for medium term.
The crude oil was closed in profit-but i dont know anything about oil -just used the chart and traded it.
Gold has gone down aswell.

Snoball:
Just Looked at your Dow Chart and the level at 10060 is spot on so far for stop and reverse the Longs as it just keeps stopping at 10058-10059.
I trust u r well and joining in the fray.
