Crikey, down again! 1.5p....1p soon, anyone?
What no-one appears to answer is my question re the placing in May/June06 where T&G placed shares to raise 3.7m (after expenses).
If it hapened, why the gloom? - the Plaiing price was a robust 8p, but at the time that was the Market price - and had been 13p only a while earlier.
So with the Placing successful; to part-pay for the acquision of Biotec and for working capital...... why the gloom?
I saw the Market was happy between 12-24p, then the 8p-Placing pegged the price, but now it should rise (since they have more value +and fall due to a small dilution).....but the fall to nearly 1p is quite extraordinary, isn't it?
Can anyone say?, make it simple, I just don't get it....
Holding in hope...
((Constantly having to redraft their RNS can't help; don't they employ anyone with a GCSE?))

No Gloom here, ho!!
The nerves are due to the rumours (of which there are many) about the fundraising. Some rumours contain the figure 1.5p as a placing price and others talk about raising huge sums of money. Taken together, the market fears a massive dilution of stock, to raise an awful lot of cash.
This would be no bad thing in many ways, if the money was used to roll out Starpol and GS. The big worry is that its a last ditch attempt to raise money just to keep the company going and that nothing will flow from it.
I don't subscribe to that part. I believe that much is to come, from many sources, and the fundraising would be better described as being for capital investment, rather than capital raising.
As usual, IMHO, DYOR and don't buy yet. There will be plenty of opportunity after the news breaks (if it does).

I know a different version that sums it up better, Oblo.
The boy stood on the burning deck, his pockets full of crackers,
A spark shot up his trouser leg and.....................................answers on a postcard please.
No Idea, dawall. If I posted that i'd just be following other rumours.
A large amount could be seen as good, as it may be to finance some very profitable moves. It could be seen as bad, as it could be read as no cashflow coming for some time yet.
Me? I'm ever the optimist.
I think we will see a large placing raising oodles of money and then a quiet week or two, with no news and a falling SP until it suddenly pops forth and sends it north again, rapidly.
Despite all, I am still quietly confident. But DYOR, WTFDIK etc. etc.

Price monitoring extension
A time extension to the auction call period. It occurs if the auction match price breaches price tolerance limits. The extension allows further entry and deletion of orders.
There, that's nice clear isn't it ?!

Does it allow after hours trading, if so has someone made a mistake and tried to sell 200000m shares instead of buying them?
