Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

If you were more circumspect in the content of your posts then there wouldn't be a problem. To some extent this BB is self policing and in extremis there are moderators. You came up against the self policing part quite quickly and now you are at the threshold of the moderator part. Common sense should dictate a change in behaviour.

"I have a database, which has over 2,500 recipes collected over the years.
Seems obsessional, but I am just moderately paranoid."
You could try cooking the recipes, rather than just collecting them which is more of an Obsessional Compulsive Disorder.
Together with your self-admitted paranoia, you may just be trying to elicit sympathy.
If you stop constantly attacking Israel as being the epitome of evil and were to simply debate and exchange views in a non-confrontational, non-aggressive, non- hate filled manner, then I'm sure you would get divergent but reasonable debate.
Stop being nasty and people won't be nasty back.
I'll offer you the hand of peace - no that's too extreme - first a cease fire, then a period of non-aggression, then an olive branch, then even shake hands and eventually live in peace.
Just like Israel and what one day will be Palestine.
PS Wow ! Even Haystack is posting good sense ! ;)

A database of 2,500 recipes???
Normal people just have a couple of cookbooks. With the emphasis on normal!

Hilary,
I read quite quickly and have been interested in food for over 55 years.
Also, have a very extensive library on various subjects.
Surprising, what you learn in that period.

Hays,
It seems to me that what I have come up against is an orchestrated group.
I have been informed that some members of that group had difficulties on previous BBs..
Now. I am not sure whether that is true, or not.

I think people just got fed up with your rants about Israel I am not a fan of Israel either, but I don't feel the necessity to post constantly on the subject as you do. You seem to trawl the internet looking for anti Israel information and to what end. We know you are anti Israel, but what is the point in repeating yourself day in day out?

cynic - you do yourself a huge disservice - as a musician, I know that there is nobody on the planet who is "tone deaf", it is a condition that doesn't exist! Untrained aurally maybe... sorry, I just don't like the phrase, I'm on a mission to convince anyone I meet of their inate musicality!! :-)

nah, everyone can learn to differentiate and reproduce pitch, MM, for starters, everyone can tell their mum's and dad's voices apart as babies, and everyone recognizes different music. It's all down to vocal training, and some people have more difficulty than others when reproducing a certain pitch, but they can learn to control the voice.

Oh, I dunno about nobody being tone deaf, Splatters.
You just need to hear my husband and son sing to rethink that notion. Especially the way they've both been the last couple of weeks with Chelsea winning the double.

Their imagination's good though, even if they can't sing. They've sung songs about things I never knew were possible.

a snippet from a long reuters news thingy on IG ....
British oil company Rockhopper Exploration Plc said this month it found high quality oil north of the wind-swept archipelago in the southern Atlantic ocean, but future drilling was needed to confirm whether it is a commercial discovery.
In the past, oil exploration has lifted expectations on the Falklands -- home to about 3,000 people -- without leading to production.

does a cynic have integrity or is he amoral in his search for cynicism?
or
does amorality have its own rules of integrity?
