Some big accumulations today, two big buys late on in excess of 200k and 250k and many others listed as sells will be buys. Should give us all even more confidence. Monday should be interesting, I think that big buyers are accumulating and at times the sp might drop to force out some sellers but support now >15p and probably 16p, edging up all the time.

What does this mean i wonder!

EWRobson - 11 Mar 2005 21:32 - 2060 of 27111

Well done, Seine; you are good at the visuals - must learn how some day. Testing the resistance level you drew attention to with your earlier chart. So Monday should be interesting. I doubt whether there is actually the buying momentum yet to break that level - unless the city is percolating with the news that ASDA is a done deal. Bos, I was surprised that you even suggested the slightest possibility that it wouldn't happen; they are not going to stand there and let Tesco steal their thunder are they? So, it may be a good idea for us to all put our shoulders to the sp and overcome the resistance. On second thoughts, if it came back a tad it would be another chance to top up. The world is good, despite being thrashed in the Kent Seniors golf knock-out today, the world is SEO!

unlucky in the golf eric. better luck next time. you know what they say , unlucky in golf, lucky in shares.:) i have to agree with andys. i think there will be buyers next week , the buy on rumour sell on news brigade will come on board.
i have to say i do like this thread and most of the people on it. i dont normally go on other sites but i did have a read of the iii seo thread. so many idiots! i felt sorry for the few who actually had something relevant to say. i have never been but i believe adfn is even worse!!
anybody in blackpool on sunday (winter gardens?).

EWRobson - 12 Mar 2005 00:04 - 2062 of 27111

Hi, bos, found you here as well, burning the midnight oil! Yeah! Under 4 weeks to go, so you could well be right. The only uncertainty in my mind is whether it is big news or whether it is mega-big or even gargantuan. Added a decent stache this week but I am hoping for a bit of a pause to add some more. Its a game, just like the Challenge, but its real money! Loovly!

Like your golfing phrase, Bosley, and hopes it runs true!!!!!

keith thomas - 12 Mar 2005 11:15 - 2064 of 27111

This could be a very good stock, but lets not get too carried away! Its priced at 17p for a reason

andysmith - 12 Mar 2005 13:19 - 2065 of 27111

Keith, its priced at 17p becuase their old technology was in decline and the company was going nowhere fast. Thats why the future looks so great with the new technologies and from a low sp start as well.

stockdog - 12 Mar 2005 13:38 - 2066 of 27111

I think it's 17p because that is the SP (absent any further news e.g. ASDA currently) at which the MMs are happy to take a 1.7% spread whilst institutions (and some punters) reduce their exposure after making a nice healthy profit from 4p and 8p levels and retail investors are happy to climb on board.

Any lower the sellers wouldn't sell, any higher the buyers wouldn't buy - MMs make their bread and butter on the turn and their killings on their own positions. This is bread and butter time, until the NEWS.

IMHO

EWRobson - 12 Mar 2005 13:48 - 2067 of 27111

Well said, andy: management have to doubly prove themselves given the on-going promise with previous technological products which never quite brought home the bacon.

Well said too, stockdog: I suspect it is the other way round with smaller punters taking profits whilst institutions are busy building propositions with the particular need of trracer funds needing to buy because of the new-found small-cap index status.

Keith: worth looking back to an illustrated piece by Seine a couple of weeks ago where he argues for a pause in an ascending profile.

bosley - 12 Mar 2005 16:21 - 2068 of 27111

keith, you must have a ton of stocks that quadruple in the space of a few months to say ....lets not get carried away.......!!!:) flippin' 'eck , lad. let us have our moment in the sun. (and its not even spring yet!)

driver - 12 Mar 2005 18:23 - 2069 of 27111

The FTSE UK Index Series Quarterly Review March 2005 that took place on the 9 March will not affect seo till Mon 21 March, this is when seo will be put in the FTSE SmallCap Index from FTSE Fledgling, in effect this is when the Tracker funds will kick in and there computers automatically have to start buying seo to put in these funds we may have seen some of this buying all ready from the manual managed trackers but I think, correct me if I am wrong most of the T/Funds run on alto.
If I am correct in this assumption we shall see a nice steady sp rise next week and the following week.

keith thomas - 12 Mar 2005 19:43 - 2070 of 27111

Thanks for the comments guys, look forward to watching my bank account rising then shall I!

andysmith - 12 Mar 2005 21:21 - 2071 of 27111

Having waited for the sp to test 14p-15p again last week and it didn't happen I think Monday/Tuesday will see one small top-up from me at an unprecedented price for me. FTSE Small Cap will give more exposure and then any decent RNS about Asda and we could be looking at 25-30p very quickly IMO. Only problem then will be keeping up with posts on this bb, where have they all gone!!!!!

stockdog - 12 Mar 2005 21:44 - 2072 of 27111

Where Have They All Gone

bos in his northern fastness
eric down in Rye
andysmith is topping up
the driver's driving by
mickeyskint says she's a miss
proberts out in goa
we're waiting for the RNS
the MMs all say whoa

keith thomas he says not to fret
bos says he owns a ton
of stock, by gum lad flippin' heck
it's quadrupled, mon
and stockdog finds the nearest tree
yer know, just to fill in time
as eric buys one more CFD
while we wait for SEO to climb

Anon an' on an' on an' on

EWRobson - 13 Mar 2005 00:09 - 2073 of 27111

We're all out dining on Saturday night
'cept stockdog, oh, what a plight
he's sitting at home rhyming his rhymes
what a b-awful way to spend his times!

but what's that, he's sucking his bone
all on his blessed, contented SEOwn!

Sabine45 - 13 Mar 2005 16:45 - 2075 of 27111

Hi all,

I'm still in, but have had a very busy time lately, so was unable to catch up with posts.
Two deaths in the family and the launch of my novel bang in the middle of it.
Talk about a rollercoaster! My emotions have been up and down like a yoyo.
One of the bright moments have been Stanelco's rise.

bosley - 13 Mar 2005 18:22 - 2076 of 27111

my mood at present is black and foul .
dont bother me , dog , 'cos i'll do more than growl.
the work , the rehearsals, the time that was spent,
all of those sacrifces ;yet the judging was bent!
