Evening ladies and gents (I assume there is one of each frequenting the premises)!

Off to dinner in a mo, so a small livener required.

Socrates - 10 Dec 2004 21:45 - 20660 of 23498

stockbunny
Raspberry trifle? Has it got sherry in it?

Hi Big Al. Bring a doggy bag back, a few scraps are always welcome.

Spaceman - 10 Dec 2004 23:46 - 20661 of 23498

Um Yummy Just tucked into the leftovers from Stockbunnies menu earlier, I had

Raspberry trifle AND chocolate steamed pud with extra chocolate sauce AND
sticky toffee pudding with extra sticky.

All washed down with a couple of pints of the Belgium beer at the bar.

Think I am converted to Chocolats menu of 3 puddings and nothing else !

Thanks Stockbunny, will you be doing anything for us over the weekend? more of that trifle would be nice?

little willie - 11 Dec 2004 09:26 - 20662 of 23498

Happy w/end everyone.

Jessie, just back from the gallops, Glen v. positive, no signs of dreaded cough from any of the strings so all bets are ON.

Sweet Revenge worked pretty well altho' she had the cough a couple of weeks ago and it has put her back. She still has some growing to do and needs to lose some weight and replace it with muscle however one mustn't work these youngsters too hard at this stage.
Seems her debut will bve put back a bit but we shall reassess things in about six weeks, if we push too hard now we may regret it the rest of her career.

Socrates - 11 Dec 2004 10:19 - 20663 of 23498

Good morning all. Dull day here in the Cotswolds but are we downhearted? Not on your nellie.

optomistic - 11 Dec 2004 11:04 - 20664 of 23498

Socrates - 11 Dec 2004 11:21 - 20665 of 23498

Opto
I don't think I've ever met any Nellie, although I have one in my family tree in around 1850. I suspect I may never meet her.

jeffmack - 11 Dec 2004 12:30 - 20666 of 23498

chocolat - 11 Dec 2004 12:39 - 20667 of 23498

Well I went one better last night - at least I didn't have trouble finding my car...this time it was a train.

Golddog - 11 Dec 2004 15:42 - 20668 of 23498

Howdy boys and girls. what a fine day it's been.

Chocy, sounds like you had a good time last night! (trains are those things that are long and narrow and run on tracks). I hope your other half believed you on the missing the last train home story!

;-)

Gausie - 11 Dec 2004 18:02 - 20669 of 23498
