Winks,

Disappointed for sure, but it's one of those things which has happened the other way around in the past and will do again in the future. Overall, I think that the result was fair and we've still got that 5 point gap over the Gooners. Let's see where we're at come Easter ..... it's a marathon not a sprint.

daves dazzlers - 13 Dec 2004 08:21 - 20703 of 23498

Morning macca .

This_is_me - 13 Dec 2004 09:35 - 20704 of 23498

Jessie

gerrard - headless chicken, which runs around aimlessly until it drops'
alonso - young gangly spanish onion seller,
baros - spanish for barrow of onions; makes team-mates cry.

(I may have to re-consider these judgements if any end up improving under Sir Alex's guidance!)

hilary - 13 Dec 2004 09:41 - 20705 of 23498

Manchester - an attraction(???????) frequently visited by stockbrokers from Woking and Japanese tourists.

Golddog - 13 Dec 2004 11:17 - 20706 of 23498

Morning all.

Tea Room Announcement

For the New Year 2005 I would like to hand over the keys to the Tea Rooms to someone else. A new thread perhaps with a different name but keeping the caftype theme. Maybe Spaceman would like to start a thread with the dutch coffee house idea, that would be good. Or anyone else? I have done this once before when Fanta took over and that worked out ok.

chocolat - 13 Dec 2004 11:20 - 20707 of 23498

Heyy, poochie-poo - nice one for the award!
...and now you're doing a runner?

jj50 - 13 Dec 2004 11:22 - 20708 of 23498

Poochy - sob, sob :-(

Golddog - 13 Dec 2004 11:23 - 20709 of 23498

I'm not doing a runner i just want someone else to have their name over the door. It's good to have a change you know! :-)

jj50 - 13 Dec 2004 11:27 - 20710 of 23498

Of course you are not doing a runner GD - we women would catch you anyway!

It had just been such a good day - 2 premium bond wins, QXL and LSE, so sad news from you. You have done such a great job and so much appreciated - extra large crate of Bods coming your way and thanks for all your efforts at brightening up our days :-))

little willie - 13 Dec 2004 11:28 - 20711 of 23498

If it aint broke don't F... with it Mutley!
Sterling job being done even allowing for your trips to c/o HM Gov Prisons.

Keep at it wuffles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Priscilla - 13 Dec 2004 11:33 - 20712 of 23498

Pooch! Now listen here......you can't leave us just because you won an award. It's bad manners, Doggo! We're just the same rag-bag of muppets but without your name over the door, the whole flavour of the place changes.

Are you planning on doing another of your 'disappearing' acts? The last one was so good NONE of us could find you.

I want to keep it 'Poochy's Tea Rooms' (wail, sob, TANTRUM!!!)

Golddog - 13 Dec 2004 11:38 - 20713 of 23498

jj, i will still be visiting the new place, you know i like my cuddles. :-)

littlewillie, i've already taken out the plumbing so i'm afraid it's already broke.

Golddog - 13 Dec 2004 11:41 - 20714 of 23498

Priscilla, No i'm not disappearing this time i will still be here. But i have made my mind up and i want someone else to take over, bring new life and freshness to the cafe thread.

Priscilla - 13 Dec 2004 11:46 - 20715 of 23498

But, poochy, we like it the way it is.......

We like the games you set up for us, the laissez-faire management and the pooch always being around to entertain us, and the girls always know where they can get a cuddle.

'The AM Catering Establishment with Beverages' just doesn't have the same welcoming tone....

Gausie - 13 Dec 2004 11:51 - 20716 of 23498

Wonder if Sardine might be up for it ....
