Alan,
A younger girl makes the years roll backwards. Trust me, I know ;-))
But the one 50% my age three years ago created worry lines elsewhere!!!
Happy with the present 75%. Very happy.

Tony, Shares mag. says today that Clive Warner (quoted as FD, not CEO - how professional of them to not even get them right!) has contacted all large shareholders to say that the funding will be in place. Have you received a call? Or is this just Shares mag touting its shorting policy; beginning to think that some of their staff are little better than tarts.

greekman - 05 Oct 2006 08:09 - 20753 of 27111

Stockdog,

Like you I have excepted this as a loss. Best way to look at it, the way things have gone latterly.
If it does come good, it will then be an even bigger bonus.

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2006 08:11 - 20754 of 27111

Look on the positive side - you dont have to sell many seo shares to balance your cgt gains elsewhere !!!

hewittalan6 - 05 Oct 2006 08:15 - 20755 of 27111

Sharesure,
Shurely shome mishtake!!
Contacting the larger holders with this news!! FOUL says I.
While I don't rival the age of reason holding, I am a holder and surely all holders should receive the news at the same time.
They could not contact me as my holding is nominee, but I would not expect to be the last to know. If they are, is it not a market breach?
Alan

Tonyrelaxes - 05 Oct 2006 08:52 - 20756 of 27111

S/s.
No one has contacted me - SEO nor my Nominee Holder, who are usually good at such matters. Also no one has contacted my girlfriend who has some in her own name at this address.

Shares Mag showing it's colours in allowing it's staff to supplement low salaries?

chesneya - 05 Oct 2006 08:58 - 20757 of 27111

product has potential, management does not

kimoldfield - 05 Oct 2006 09:07 - 20758 of 27111

Stiff upper lip time! For so long as the share is not suspended, there is hope. Hope I haven't spoken too soon!

Perhaps does not mean anything, but posted out of interest just in case.

Excerpt from PR Newswire.

Rick Bendel, Chief Operating Officer of Publicis Worldwide, decided to accept to be the Group Marketing Director at Asda (Wal-Mart in the UK). With Publicis for twenty years, and following a superb professional career. END

Saatchi and Satchi are just one of the companies connected to Publicis.
Rick Bendel was Chief Operating Officer, Publicis Worldwide and Vice Chairman of the Publicis Worldwide COMEX management committee, the Publicis Worldwide Board. Bendel also oversees several worldwide accounts for Publicis, including HP, UBS, Coca Cola (Minute Maid), Cadbury, Allied Domecq and Wal-Mart.

Excerpt from the Guardian.

The Asda supermarket chain has hired the boss of one of the world's biggest advertising agencies as its new marketing director, with a brief to reinvent the grocer's image. (Thats the sentence I like).
Rick Bendel, chief operating officer of the Paris-based Publicis advertising group, is joining Asda at the end of this month

IF Asda/Walmart go full out for Greenseal and or Starpol, could the move of Rick Bendal be preparing for a big publicity push.

As said probably no connection, but you never know.
Not much else newswise at present.

oblomov - 05 Oct 2006 09:13 - 20760 of 27111

Sub 1P

greekman - 05 Oct 2006 09:19 - 20761 of 27111

Expecting to see many trades now, buy and sell due to stop losses being triggered.
The 1p price is a physiological barrier, now broken.
Surely SEO will have to release some sort of clarification statement asap.

alfalfa - 05 Oct 2006 09:23 - 20762 of 27111

Greekman - a physiological barrier would be some biological cycle clips. Haven't put mine on yet !

Extraordinary goings on here.

Edit - stop loss triggering ?

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2006 09:28 - 20763 of 27111

Just bought 1m @ .91 - a high risk punt I know - but who knows

I do hope they do not get suspended now

greekman - 05 Oct 2006 09:29 - 20764 of 27111

Alfalfa,
Thats the trouble with being Dyslexic, the spell checker only works if you spell the word wrong, not if you spell the wrong word right, if you see what I mean.

hewittalan6 - 05 Oct 2006 09:31 - 20765 of 27111

Just done the same, Baza (different amount and price) so my average is now way down.
The losses are manageable and there is an increased chance of me actually making some money on this.
Alan

cynic - 05 Oct 2006 09:35 - 20766 of 27111

catching falling knives comes immediately to mind!

maestro - 05 Oct 2006 09:39 - 20767 of 27111

hewittalan6 - 05 Oct 2006 09:39 - 20768 of 27111

They can be caught by the handle, cynic.
He who dares comes to mind.............

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2006 09:44 - 20769 of 27111

...either that or we are really stupid.

Interesting that my trade has not shown up yet - so when it does - it will probably show as a sell at current prices

hugybear - 05 Oct 2006 09:45 - 20770 of 27111
