Just done the same, Baza (different amount and price) so my average is now way down.
The losses are manageable and there is an increased chance of me actually making some money on this.

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2006 09:44 - 20769 of 27111

...either that or we are really stupid.

Interesting that my trade has not shown up yet - so when it does - it will probably show as a sell at current prices

hugybear - 05 Oct 2006 09:45 - 20770 of 27111

maestro
Is that another one of your pearls of wisdom

hewittalan6 - 05 Oct 2006 09:45 - 20771 of 27111

Just checked that Baza. Mine has not shown either!!
And yes, we are really stupid.

Firstly can anyone confirm that Shares mag has recommnded continuing to short?

Secondly what happens to shorters if the shares are suspended? (my understanding was there was about 70m shares on loan at present)

Finally there has been almost 100% talk about a placing or rights issue but virtually none on other ways to finance the expansion. If the letters of intent are genuine (have to be or SEO board have lied in an RNS) and finalisation of contracts is taking place (also has to be or SEO board have lied in an RNS) then the partners in these agreements must believe strongly in SEO's products or they would not have reached such a time consuming stage. The question for them then becomes do we aid the finance to get manufacture up and running or do we go back to square one?
The last RNS also talked about having several mechanisms open to it for forming joint ventures in the US, does this include having the capability to finance it also?

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2006 10:00 - 20773 of 27111

My very simple take on this is that it is a risky business for someone to sign a contract with a company so close to bankruptcy - therefore they must truly beleive that the product(s) can make a difference and will support them - otherwise they would not even have signed loi's.

Therefore I do not think company will go bust. - however I would like to see the current management replaced with some who are more experienced and less niave to turn this company round - that in itself would surely give the sp a boost.

oblomov - 05 Oct 2006 10:00 - 20774 of 27111

Problem is ,it may just not be possible to release any news right now because of confidentiality clauses until the deals (hopefully there are some still) are signed. SEO's hands could be tied behind their backs on that front.

An interesting piece (oh how I hate to say it!) on PM1's site about just how binding LOI's are - if anyone cant log in and wants to see it I'll copy it here. Seems that LOI's are quite binding, like a pre-agreement in many ways.

Does anyone know what the conditions would need to be for the shares to be suspended and if we are anywhere near to those conditions? If so, do they get a chance to pull a rabbit out of the hat or is it purely an automatic procedure?

waveydavey - 05 Oct 2006 10:01 - 20775 of 27111

well I'm now a very rich man on paper.
lol
So what exactly has changed, with the exception of lots of shares from losers to winners.

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2006 10:03 - 20776 of 27111

I an pretty sure that the shares wont get suspended !!!! (famous last words) - why should they - they have apparantly secured enough funding (8m - 15m) - probably 8m to get them through next stage of commercialisation.

I would expect an RNS tomorrow confirming the arrangement - but I emphasise - I am only speculating . I know nuffing

dawall - 05 Oct 2006 10:08 - 20777 of 27111

bhunt were does your info come from re. securing of funding?

pinnacle - 05 Oct 2006 10:09 - 20778 of 27111

There is talk of a rights issue in the times newspaper today - the rights issue to be announced tomorrow.

May be better to keep your cash until we find out how much we are going to need for the issue.

cynic - 05 Oct 2006 10:09 - 20779 of 27111

alan .... so does fools rush in ...... lol! ..... don't take the comment to heart please; not meant that way

hewittalan6 - 05 Oct 2006 10:14 - 20780 of 27111

No offence taken. I am confident of the products, if not the old management, and my strategies have worked very well for me over the years.
Some you win, some you lose, but on the whole, I win. What more could I ask?

greekman - 05 Oct 2006 10:17 - 20781 of 27111

Oblomov,

As you say a very interesting piece on PM1' site re LOIs.
