little willie - 14 Dec 2004 10:00 - 20769 of 23498

Morning all from sunny SA.
Amber if you're the sort of girl that'll go to bloody Scarboro for a bash then why not jump on a silver bird and fly due south for 11.5 hrs and dump yourself on my doorstep.
Mrs lw is away until Christmas morning; every day is chill by the pool, a good book, chat, with champers or beautiful dry whites and everynight is world class food eaten outside under the stars on still warm evenings all washed down by wonderful reds.

Get reall energetic and go 'down the road awhile' and see some of Hickeys photos in real regal life, strutting their thing in their natural state.

Back to reality [?] I'm with you Opto if there's a spare cup of chaa in the pot?

Priscilla - 14 Dec 2004 10:07 - 20770 of 23498

Large pot of tea coming up and some just-out-of-the-oven orange and chestnut muffins.

optomistic - 14 Dec 2004 10:20 - 20771 of 23498

Special muffins today Priscilla, you really do spoil us. Thank you I do like to be pampered a little once in a while :-))

optomistic - 14 Dec 2004 10:47 - 20772 of 23498

Well LW it seems like thats as much pampering as we are going to get from Priscila. I'll pour the tea!! one muffin or two?

snoball - 14 Dec 2004 10:47 - 20773 of 23498

Do they still serve dough nuts here or is it too upmarket now?

optomistic - 14 Dec 2004 10:49 - 20774 of 23498

Not sure yet Snoball. Have a muffin.

Priscilla - 14 Dec 2004 11:00 - 20775 of 23498

snoball....fresh baked (not fried) doughnuts just out of the oven...nice to see you in here.

hello 'muffin-eaters!' Sorry I wasn't around when you appeared. I'm on kitchen duty till the bunny gets in and I was sorting out what to make for tea today....

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 11:39 - 20776 of 23498

Memo To The New Management.

1. The kitchen staff wish to clarify certain matters following
questions from the punters:
a) Will we still serve tea?
b) Will we still serve do'nuts?
c) Will bunny also be taboo on the menu along with lamb?
d) Will bunny get the 500% payrise as previously agreed with
Poochy that was due to take affect from January 1st 2005?

Regards
The Bunny

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 11:43 - 20777 of 23498

Well i have just been down the cellar (rather chilly) and i'm now starting to bring up all the booze. So MM we have plenty of your selections to use up and what with around 5000 crates of Bods to use i'm going to be very ?

amberjane, I did enjoy it! ;-)

memo to spacey, Ensure you order 50 crates of bods for the new abode and plenty of MMs favs.

:-)

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 13:10 - 20778 of 23498

Hmmmm that bonus had better be in cash Poochy, no offense but
payment-in-kind wont wash! ;>)

Looks like it's sandwiches and a few sausage rolls then if anyone's
hungry until we iron out who's doing the ordering this side of Xmas.

hilary - 14 Dec 2004 13:16 - 20779 of 23498

Bunny Girl,

You produced a menu the other day and one of the items was pears poached in mulled wine. Anyway, you sowed some seeds and I made some over the weekend. Yum Yum it went down a treat, so thanks for the idea.

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 13:22 - 20780 of 23498

You're welcome Hils!
I really like to do red wine and just a vanilla stick, very simple
but yes you're right it is effective and appears more labour intensive
to those at the table - unless of course they've done it themselves!
Peaches or nectarines are the other really good one.
:>)

hilary - 14 Dec 2004 13:24 - 20781 of 23498

Forgot to mention that I'll be blaming you if I put on weight over Crimbo.

:o)

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 13:26 - 20782 of 23498

LOL - I'll have to keep a low profile then behind the bar ;>)

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 13:27 - 20783 of 23498

Buns, Is money all you girls ever think about! jeez.
:-)

I thought we might have a few memories from tea room posts, so now and again i will ask that the next person to post gives me a number between 1 and 20000, and i shall post that post plus one either side of it to see what drizzle we get. so give us a number?

Mrs Lambykins - 14 Dec 2004 13:36 - 20785 of 23498

I feel a bit like Bo-Peep, but I have lost my husband somewhere and he was due back home on Friday night.

1) Did he get on the same lost train as Chocolat?
2) Is he hiding a Spacemans house, getting full of Christmas spirit?
3) Has GD(The Gold Sheep Dog) kidnapped him?

I am due some twins in a few days time and it would be nice to have him home before they arrive.

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 13:36 - 20786 of 23498

ok jeffers will post up 666 you evil banker!

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 13:40 - 20787 of 23498
