Afternoon Socco - quiet in here today!

Ah civilisation, first time I have had proper internet conectivity for days, these australians need to get their priories right, whats the point of fresh water in remote areas if you cant get on the internet?

Clebrated our last day in Kakadu last night with a bufet of Steak, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Chicken and Baracuda, all were yummy except the steak which was not well done as required by me!

Now at Darwin airport at the start of trip home, 24 hour stopover in singapore and should be home by 0800 Monday and straight to work ! Nice

Morning all, just got home, seeing as its a bit early I have put the tea on, the Danish are warming and I have some Fresh Croissant's with Apricot Jam being delivered later.

Personally I will start with a cuppa and a fried egg sandwitch.

Morning K, seeing as you are still sleeping and there is no one else around, I took the opportunity to drink all the tea, eat all the danish and croissant and wolf down 5 fried egg sandwiches as well, so now I am feeling very full and very sleepy....

So off to bed for a few hours.

Certainly cooler than last week for me, it was 34C in Darwin.

Darwin, Australia's gateway to Asia, but I thought they kept it locked!

Socs it was the only Oz 'capital' (NT is not a state) that I had not been to and i was not expecting much, however we had a great time there and in Kakadu, the wildlife was amazing. It had the big advantage of only being a 4 hour flight from KL/Singapore where I have been working,

I also spent some time visiting some of the WWII sites, mainly small airfields that were used in the pacific war and to defend Darwin, interesting if you like that sort of thing, which I do, but not if you dont, like Mrs S !!!

Oh jolly good so you've bored her senseless with aeroplanes then LOL
Bet you will 'pay' walking round shops ;>)

Nice bit of gammon with spring veggies and cauli cheese for lunch - help yourselves.

Yummy, I'll have some of that, please.
