KEAYDIAN - 24 Apr 2008 16:45 - 20785 of 24230

Always be prepared, good boy scout me.

Right boys and girls, have a nice weekend and keep noise down tomorrow when passing my bin as I'll be sleeping.

I'm off to have the 3S's.

S***, Shower and a Shave.

Socrates - 25 Apr 2008 09:40 - 20786 of 24230

Good morning all.

stockbunny - 25 Apr 2008 13:12 - 20787 of 24230

Afternoon Socco - quiet in here today!

Spaceman - 26 Apr 2008 07:41 - 20788 of 24230

Ah civilisation, first time I have had proper internet conectivity for days, these australians need to get their priories right, whats the point of fresh water in remote areas if you cant get on the internet?

Clebrated our last day in Kakadu last night with a bufet of Steak, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Chicken and Baracuda, all were yummy except the steak which was not well done as required by me!

Now at Darwin airport at the start of trip home, 24 hour stopover in singapore and should be home by 0800 Monday and straight to work ! Nice

Spaceman - 28 Apr 2008 07:09 - 20789 of 24230

Morning all, just got home, seeing as its a bit early I have put the tea on, the Danish are warming and I have some Fresh Croissant's with Apricot Jam being delivered later.

Personally I will start with a cuppa and a fried egg sandwitch.

KEAYDIAN - 28 Apr 2008 09:47 - 20790 of 24230

Yawn stretch.......zzz zzz zzz zzz

Spaceman - 28 Apr 2008 10:11 - 20791 of 24230

Morning K, seeing as you are still sleeping and there is no one else around, I took the opportunity to drink all the tea, eat all the danish and croissant and wolf down 5 fried egg sandwiches as well, so now I am feeling very full and very sleepy....

So off to bed for a few hours.

Socrates - 28 Apr 2008 11:21 - 20792 of 24230

Sorry I'm late, hiding from the dustbinmen again.

Tea and coffee a'plenty for all.

Socrates - 29 Apr 2008 09:22 - 20793 of 24230

I wander, lonely as a cloud.......

stockbunny - 29 Apr 2008 09:34 - 20794 of 24230

Morning socco - a reflection on the quietness of this place or a Wordsworth moment?
Any tea going?

Spaceman - 29 Apr 2008 09:38 - 20795 of 24230

Socrates - 29 Apr 2008 09:45 - 20796 of 24230

Tea and Danish a'plenty. Cooler here today.

Spaceman - 29 Apr 2008 09:49 - 20797 of 24230

Thanks Socs, cooler and wetter here in 7oaks !

Certainly cooler than last week for me, it was 34C in Darwin.

Socrates - 29 Apr 2008 09:56 - 20798 of 24230

Darwin, Australia's gateway to Asia, but I thought they kept it locked!

Spaceman - 29 Apr 2008 10:02 - 20799 of 24230

Socs it was the only Oz 'capital' (NT is not a state) that I had not been to and i was not expecting much, however we had a great time there and in Kakadu, the wildlife was amazing. It had the big advantage of only being a 4 hour flight from KL/Singapore where I have been working,

I also spent some time visiting some of the WWII sites, mainly small airfields that were used in the pacific war and to defend Darwin, interesting if you like that sort of thing, which I do, but not if you dont, like Mrs S !!!

stockbunny - 29 Apr 2008 11:21 - 20800 of 24230

Oh jolly good so you've bored her senseless with aeroplanes then LOL
Bet you will 'pay' walking round shops ;>)

stockbunny - 29 Apr 2008 11:48 - 20801 of 24230

Nice bit of gammon with spring veggies and cauli cheese for lunch - help yourselves.

Socrates - 29 Apr 2008 12:37 - 20802 of 24230

Yummy, I'll have some of that, please.

stockbunny - 29 Apr 2008 13:16 - 20803 of 24230

Hope you enjoyed it Socs ;>)
