I have created this new thread so that anyone who is interested in attending a celebration lunch, day out, whatever to celebrate TMC's share price reaching 20, can register their interest and voice an opinion on what they would like to do.
When,.......Obviously timing is not yet known.
Where,......Somewhere pretty central to most posters.
Who,.........Is it just investors, or do we include other halves.
What,........Theme park, slap up lunch, piss up.
Any ideas, put them forward on this thread and we can all openly discuss options and formulate a day of celebration.

no summer hol this year ..... helping out elder son with house and also he is getting married, so lots of heavy outgoings ..... take my summer hols in Provence for preference ..... good markets and plenty of good restaurants, very well equipped villa(s), good walking country and guaranteed sunshine ..... overall prob cheaper than UK anyway (villa apart!)

wakey wakey rns out. This now clearly a waiting game to a takeover and I think it could become a bid battle given ENK have 20% @ 200p. I think this could go for 100p given its very low market cap - chicken feed money for a big player who can sit on Tmc's massive reserves and wait for recovery in Nickel.

everything's a bit glum today, but note that TMC's price hit 200 dma and got slightly giddy

How many more can Daintree buy before they have to make a formal bid?

I'm in for a few now--have a good feeling we're on a winner now! Kate crantock is the other side of the pentire headland so very close--perhaps we could meet up June is considered the best month in Cornwall!

Think this bid is just about upon us and have very very good feeling (nudge nudge wink wink) there'll be some happy bunnies around.

certainly IG's book has reached its limit, and is only open for closing deals

can find nothing on 'Daintree Resources' so looks obvious they have been set up to buy Toledo. Interesting point from another forum is the fact they've bought nearly 20% of TMC in the market but why not try and buy ENK's 20% ?? Presume ENK want plenty more than market price. The quicker this rises the quicker Daintree will be forced to launch a bid, don't sell your shares!! Squeeze this up!!

DON'T EVEN GO THERE!!!!
Sold my original stake at a decent profit a few days.
Bit short of funds late yesterday and close to close, so held off.
Tried to deal this morning at <40 but message came up "closing deal only", but this was apparently an error.
By the time IG had unscrambled it, price had moved to 44.5.
Anyway, have bought some even at this inflated price and hope i have not been extremely foolish

One should always not try to buy at the top cynic.
You may win but are far more likely to lose. Doesn't sound like your usual strategy.

it's not, though of course vone does not know where the top is ...... there is also the valid argument that momentum creates momentum (or similar)

True but 8-40p is one hell of a rise and not one to ride from there i would have thought.
