'Evening all.

Jeff, what's this about pots, it's money we are interested in not gardening or cooking. I think I ought to have a bank in my portfolio but I may be Barcing up the wrong tree. What are you into these days, shorting is not quite such a dead cert as it was, even EK is feeling the effects I see?

lw, watch that plonk, it'll do you no good.

I bumped into Priscilla on "the other board" today. Such a nice surprise. She was cleaning up on the DYS thread, up 8.5p today. What brought that on I wonder?

[:-)

Hi Socks: Just keeping the DYS thread alive over there and bringing the thread to the top. Thanks for opening a bottle, it would be rude to leave without a glasss........xxxx

Morning guys,
In need of a non-alcholic thirst quencher; lovely day in progress, believe you have the same over there, enjoy it.
Think I'll have one of the local quenchers, a pint of Steelworks, agghh lovely.
Ginger beer, lemonade, lime and Angoustera Bitters.
Haven't signed the pledge but taking Socs advice on board!!
TFC gone wild this am plus a bit of movement on my old 'dog' SPS altho' have to say that 'the minx' told me to quit whilst I was ahead..
PRM still on climb back so my huskies are working....lw

Priscilla - 14 Dec 2004 14:18 - 20804 of 23498

Good Gracious! I've heard lots about you, mg! I think there are some thingymybo(o)bs around here but in half an hour there will be fresh Victoria Sponge cake with warm raspberry sauce for tea. Most people have had enough chocolate for one day already but there's some left over from this morning if you would prefer.

mg - 14 Dec 2004 14:27 - 20805 of 23498

Well alright then, I'll wait for Victoria and her raspberrys.

I'm slightly limited in how far I can travel at the moment - what with my gammy leg and the security tag the Met Police insisted on attaching last Friday night/Saturday morning. Apparently future visits to London will be closely monitored by Special Branch.

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 14:27 - 20806 of 23498

fresh Victoria Sponge cake with warm raspberry sauce?

getting a bit posh in here are we not!
:-)

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 14:32 - 20807 of 23498

mg, i understand you are the ex of maggieb, the last time she came in here she showed us more than i asked for and it put me off my tea. Seems you did the right thing.
:-)

Priscilla - 14 Dec 2004 14:41 - 20808 of 23498

OK, pooch. I admit it. Today's afternoon cake is Belgravia (a.k.a Upper Victoria) Sponge, with Sandringham Raspberry Coulis and fresh cream from Jug Ears Estate......

Please use the cake forks.

maggiebunton - 14 Dec 2004 14:44 - 20809 of 23498

Golddog. I got much worse than that from him. I have some photos to share... . Just off to hunt them down

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 14:50 - 20810 of 23498

Oh gawd - do we need to get the hard hats out if these two are going
to start throwing buns about?

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 14:54 - 20811 of 23498

i'm off to the broom cupboard sort out the brooms.

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 14:55 - 20812 of 23498

;>)

Ok hard hats available at this end of the bar for those of a more nervous
disposition..................

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 15:01 - 20813 of 23498

Some nice brooms here to take to the new place, i'm sure once the builders have finished it will need a good broom out!

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 15:04 - 20814 of 23498

Well I've never heard it called a 'broom-out' but i'll bow to your
superior knowledge Poochy and hey! that one's mine....
(tug)
Gimme it!
(tug)
I mean it Pooch!
(tug,tug)
I'll cry!
(well this dispute has no rules after all!)
(tug,tug)
;>)

Priscilla - 14 Dec 2004 15:08 - 20815 of 23498

Just don't throw out the pink one, Poochy. I need that to travel around on.

stockbunny - 14 Dec 2004 15:09 - 20816 of 23498

Can't see a pink one here Priscilla - afternoon by the way and
I'm looking forward to the cake :>)

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 15:12 - 20817 of 23498

You saying your a witch Priscilla? Never! bewitched maybe. little twitching nose. :-) lovely.

Priscilla - 14 Dec 2004 15:14 - 20818 of 23498

No probs, Bunny. Just pick the best one. I needed one with more gears and better brakes anyway!

New management eh? D'you think we'll all have to apply for new membership, like applying for your own job when the new boss comes in? One-to-one interviews with the Boss, behind locked doors? Aaargh!

Golddog - 14 Dec 2004 15:18 - 20819 of 23498

lets hope jeffers fails the interview! :-)
