Afternoon all:
The durable orders numbers out at 13.30 and beige book results at 19.00.
What are my views for the market today?
I am of the opinion that it will possibly reach 10100-10150 max and then slip down but not markedly.Play around a range in middle ground -remember it is still in a down trend and i feel if it reaches say 10240 than the view should change.So in a nutshell looking for a high near the beginning session with a pullback -but this pull back will not be anything dramatic and a fairly quiet day.
This is my view yours may be different.It takes two views to make a market work.

ps: Someone told me once that to trade the markets sometimes you have to think like a crook as you are pitting your wits against master thieves. So it doesnot matter what we think BUT what they are thinking.!!!!!!!

ym auction now open:
Managed a few scalps on the cable.
Just watching atm.
Durable figures were not brilliant and USD gave a bit of way and gold went up a bit.

Took out a small short dow at 10095 and closed it just for 56pt profit.
Now back to watching the screen I think will probably have a low point around 11.35-11.55pm their time so 4.35-4.55gmt.
Dollar rises so Equities lose a bit generally but does not work totally.

Another short just locked in and 39pts in credit.

Beige book results out at 19.00hrs. I have this gut feeling that they could be a killer in that either bad or good and so the safest thing to do by following my instinct is Stay in cash closed all and going to watch from the fence and if then the game is good then jump in.

Took out a long earlier at 10020 and am 100pts in credit -just going to close it as dinner is ready and the kids are playing havoc.
Enough for today -good day. The only downside is the cable is still a bit negative -then again is for medium term so not worried.

Earlier today before the market opened I said that the max the market will reach is say 10150 it just touched that.May be should have held my long for a bit more time but better to have cah in hand rather than slip away.

Hi everybody:
Just my feelings for today. I think we will have higher prices today and possibly 10170-10200 area if it gets that far. Chances are it will decline a bit in the beginning and than work its way up.Also beware of the reesults coming out today. Intraday longs are fine but my geneeral tact is that its still bearish and Like a Lull between the storms and waiting for a Tsunami to come just when we start getting comfortable.If it goes down i think it will go down hard and i would envisage in the next week or so.These are just my inner feelings and best to play carefully as it can seriously hit your Wallet.

Ym market is open lets see what it throws at us.
The cable is being pested by greenback and broke the 1.8100 level earlier on. I have taken a long from 1.8085 lets see what happens.

Dow/S&P/Ndx are having trouble getting over 10150/1100/1400.

These levels are key, IMHO. If they don't manage it then the
Eurozone will go into a bout of profit taking.
Eurozone has two back to back gap open higher days to fill.

My views are exactly as yours and Spx has to get over 1108 and stay there to make us change our views.
The cable long from 1.8100 closed at 1.8202 so happy with it.

Ym opens in abou half an hour.
It tanked down a bit when the news about the american/israeli embassy bombing in tashken.
Also the GdP didnot excite.
Remember its End Of Month day so they shall be cooking the books make sure you dont get put in the broth.!!!!

GEnerally i feel POP and DRop or DRop and POP but am vary to take these mini rallies to heart -best to scalp in and out and maintain the shorts strong unless and until the picture changes.

Ym auction starts in 25mins:
Results out today at 10.00 et. Also Al qayida threats flying about. So what can we expect from this -logically would be a doji day -but my gut instinct says that it may either rally or go splat.
Trade what you see and not what u feel
If in doubt stay out as we are at crucial levels and let the market decide your actions.

DOW making new daily high and trying to break through the top
of Thur/Fri trading range.

If it goes much higher it may start off a Bear squeeze.

S&P attacking the 200Ma.
