Socrates - 07 May 2008 14:39 - 20911 of 24230

We are having weather all day today, or so the forecast says. Must find some time for a trip to the Malvern Spring Show sometime this week. Welcome back everyone, it's been a bit too quiet of late.

I think I'll try out my submarine in the pool, mind the periscope!

Bluelady - 07 May 2008 14:56 - 20912 of 24230

Just checked my computer to see what day it was....don't want to catch Keaydian on Friday ;0)).

stockbunny - 07 May 2008 15:38 - 20913 of 24230

Blimey I feel like Houdini - BB connected, not connected, sorry Spacie I take it you found the ketchup?

Spaceman - 07 May 2008 15:50 - 20914 of 24230

bunny, yes found the ketchup but by the time I did socs ans K had eaten all the pasta, I ended up with ketchup sandwich with sugar sprinkled on it.

jeffmack - 07 May 2008 15:57 - 20915 of 24230

White bread?

stockbunny - 07 May 2008 17:01 - 20916 of 24230

I should think it would have been white bread Jeffie yes Spacie ony eats wholemeal when Mrs.S has him tied to the chair ;>)

optomistic - 07 May 2008 17:03 - 20917 of 24230

That's a new one ;-)
Time for me Guinness now.

Spaceman - 07 May 2008 17:56 - 20918 of 24230

of course it was white bread, Mrs S owes me after yesterday.

I had a day off and Mrs S requested that we pop into Ikea for a few minutes on the drive back from Norfolk, I should have know that this was the whole afternoon wasted after previous experience with just popping in to Ikea, yesterday beat the lot, after Ikea, she just 'popped in' to B&Q, ILVA and Habitat, that was my free afternoon dealt with !

Spaceman - 08 May 2008 07:34 - 20919 of 24230

Morning all from a sunny and warm Hastings.

Tea is on, egg station manned and toaster is on (I spend too much time in hotels !!!), plenty of white bread available.

stockbunny - 08 May 2008 08:35 - 20920 of 24230

Morning All :>)
In honour of the Apprentice last night - a classic episode, if you didn't see it you must - we shall have kosher chicken lunchtime ;>)
For now tea and danish is available

Bluelady - 08 May 2008 09:19 - 20921 of 24230

Morning stockbunny and Spaceman,

Stockbunny......it was very amusing to see Jenny nodding/shaking her head for the answer when Alan Sugar asked her if she knew the word kosher....

stockbunny - 08 May 2008 10:09 - 20922 of 24230

BL - I think she should have gone last week but that silly guy didn't take her in the boardroom with him! Glad to see her go, snake seems apt from what I have seen of her, certainly the thing about delaying stringing the rackets was really underhand.

Socrates - 08 May 2008 14:56 - 20923 of 24230

I'm here! OK don't get so excited, I've only been out shopping.

Her-indoors just mention Alan Sugar and the apprentice from a newspaper article. Apparently he sacked two ladies last night, seems they coudn't get on. I am not a fan of Mr. Sugar and wonder why he was chosen to front the show.

jeffmack - 08 May 2008 15:48 - 20924 of 24230

Sugar is the star of the show. The candidates are just playing bit parts

Spaceman - 09 May 2008 08:40 - 20925 of 24230

Morning all from a slightly dull Hastings.

I am having a glass of water for breakfast this morning as I have a fasting blood test at 1100 and I am not allowed anything for 14 before that ;-( however I will celebrate with fish and chips at Maggies on the beach afterwards.

Socrates - 09 May 2008 08:50 - 20926 of 24230

Good morning all. A brief visit as I am probably orf to Malvern shortly, to sniff the flowers at the spring flower show. I just hope the rain stays away and the roads are not too crowded.

Unlike you Spacie, I shall partake of a FEB because I do not wish to pay the enormously inflated prices for snacks that they charge at these events.

One of my stocks opened up 7% today on good interims, hold that thought please!

KEAYDIAN - 09 May 2008 11:14 - 20927 of 24230

Yawn, hello, where's the Sun gone?

KEAYDIAN - 09 May 2008 16:19 - 20928 of 24230

Sun is back, yippee, and it's Friday, double yippee

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (splosh)

Socrates - 09 May 2008 16:21 - 20929 of 24230

It's been over Malvern most of the day.

As you can see, I am back, weary but happy. Tea and a snack is the order of the day methinks.

KEAYDIAN - 09 May 2008 17:01 - 20930 of 24230

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (ker splosh)
