THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I can see in spite of their parents, some of the children are doing well.

Same applies for me.

But I think much of the posted above is crap.

Have a good weekend.

cynic - 01 Feb 2013 18:54 - 20916 of 81564

you really do talk such preconceived rubbish which i am afraid is just the trotting out of the pre-taught party-line, quite probably as drummed into you on your mother's knee - forgot; she was too busy scrubbing the master's doorstep and blacking the grate

goldfinger - 01 Feb 2013 21:46 - 20917 of 81564

Makes for interesting reading from post 10 onwards. Post 14 !!..... extreme bizare behaviour the further you get into the thread. Posts repeated many times over. Some kind of personality disorder?.

Then we have this..........

You must be a very sad person to dredge up post from disgruntled rampers from 10 years ago.
LOL

Why not go back further to the very beginnings of ADVFN or earlier to the BB we all used to use before then.

Fred1new - 02 Feb 2013 09:28 - 20919 of 81564

Some may be interested in this programme.

Hays could listen to Ken Clarke views of Cameron's attempted "deceit" over "deficit" and "debit" .

But he probably won't be able to stomach listening.

What interests me is the audience's responses to remarks made. Sometimes responses seem indicative of the mood of the country. ("Of course, not scientific or necessarily representative). 8-)"

Haystack - 02 Feb 2013 11:16 - 20920 of 81564

The program was quite interesting. The biggest audience reaction was in support of Ken Clarke's comments about the previous Labour government wasting all our money.

goldfinger - 02 Feb 2013 12:58 - 20921 of 81564

Fred yes only confirms what haystack tried to deny happened yesterday.

Mind having said that after looking in at his past over the road and his subsequent 'having to leave' from their, I d be suprised that he can take in the detail of the audio broadcast.

Has he realised yet that within that post I logged down was his last post ever on advfn !!.

The lad seems to have a passion for trying to upset other posters at any cost. Call it whatever you want but to me its twisted and ignorant as many pointed out over the road.

Very bizare behaviour, I have been informed they can get tablets these days for that kind of thing. Amazing how medcine has evolved over the years.

For the time being Ill keep him filtered until somebody informs me hes benefited from therapy.

toddle pip.

cynic - 02 Feb 2013 13:02 - 20922 of 81564

don't be a wuss! .... i've never squelched anyone, not even MJ aka MRSI!

goldfinger - 02 Feb 2013 13:14 - 20923 of 81564

Errrr cyners you believe in free speech free economy etc, therefore it folows that I can do what I like.

Believe me I dont like looking at bizzare behaviour like that. I cant understand it and to be honest its something I find strange and puzzling. Why on earth would you deramp shares if you have no financial interests?. In fact its left me at a position where I cannot belief anything he says.

Truly bizzare. Just have a read of the thread and others I have posted up above.

cynic - 02 Feb 2013 13:24 - 20924 of 81564

don't get miserable with me sticky, you old tart :-)

"deramping" is a word beloved by many though not by me, but is all too often applied to the views of someone who just does not like the company for whatever reason - like me with ASC for example ...... why does one have to be a holder to express a (contrary) view?

the late but unlamented MJ used to post very pretty pix with generally interesting comment, but it was then a personal choice as to whether or not you followed

goldfinger - 02 Feb 2013 13:41 - 20925 of 81564

What on every stock you post on?. Like I said take time to have a look at the posts over the road. Plenty of threads hes started, just use the search facility.

Right off out for a pint. Man Utd are away today so im taking the cats down to my local for a boozey afternoon.

See ya cyners.

Haystack - 02 Feb 2013 14:07 - 20926 of 81564

I was posting years after the post you link to. In fact I post almost every day under a different username.

Haystack - 02 Feb 2013 14:21 - 20927 of 81564

An interesting comment from Ken Clarke was that Labour were spending £5 for every £4 they raised in taxes. Labour ruined the economy over many years and now they are moaning that the Conservatives haven't fixed it in two years.

cynic - 02 Feb 2013 14:37 - 20928 of 81564

GF - i don't "do" ADVFN ..... enough crap on here!

TANKER - 02 Feb 2013 14:37 - 20929 of 81564

on friday i went with my mate to take back is rented house from some
polish .the left it in a fithy state they lived like rats .what a mess they live like rats
the house will need to be gutted
do let let your property to FILTHY migrants and never got is rrent

it will cost you all

cynic - 02 Feb 2013 14:41 - 20930 of 81564

if he didn't get his rent and doesn't have a decent deposit to cover damage etc, then he's a fool and has been parted with his money accordingly ...... and it's not just low income/level tenants who make a mess either - so do tenants in expensive properties!

3 monkies - 02 Feb 2013 16:43 - 20931 of 81564

Oh! dear, it could have been worse, he could have had an agency renting it out for him and it was getting used by some orientals using it for growing "Canabis"!!!! A property definitely needs gutting after the Police have stripped everything out. I will never know why lanlords do not keep a regular check on their properties - oh! by the way cynic I will make your pate one day after I have found it again and written it down. Cheers. No port for me tonight!!

Fred1new - 02 Feb 2013 17:41 - 20932 of 81564

You are a brave woman.

Fred1new - 02 Feb 2013 18:00 - 20933 of 81564

Hays.

It seems strange to me that in demonstrate your support for the rights (human) of Palestinians, but at the same time seemingly show disdain of a large portions of those who live in the same country as you do.

Is the dismissal and bitterness regarding the latter fed by personal greed and covetousness?

Haystack - 02 Feb 2013 18:37 - 20934 of 81564

fred
It is just that I think the current policies are the right ones. Labour's policies would take us down the wrong path.
