THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

As the Bishop said to the Prime Minister

Or

Pickles said to the PM.

Or the party faithful are saying.

Chris Huhne pleads guilty.

Reminds me of Jonathan William Patrick Aitken.

should bloody well think so ...... why on earth should he ever have even contemplated pleading otherwise? ....... he was very clearly "banged to rights" and will now certainly be hit with a harsher punishment

"prob because CH is/was a quasi tory secretary of state"

Actually, now you mention it, he would fit into this quasi "government" quite nicely.

Let him go free.!

But his action was the height of "Stupidity"!

I think there should be a difference between a British who pays tax a live in the country and a foreigner who come here for a short period of time for work or studying in the country.

No other country gives you free lunch like the UK does!!!! WHY?

Haystack - 04 Feb 2013 11:00 - 20965 of 81564

Taking point for your spouse is very common. I know three mums who do the school run and would have lost their licences except for their husbands taking the points. One keeps doing right turns when not allowed and another speeds.

CH's wife has pleaded NOT guilty. She is going to have a tough time with that.
