they wouldn,t be journalists if they got it right more times than not would they

is that so difficult to understand?

anything they say should be subject to DYOR and the consequences are yours
and thats not to say i agree with the words of Geoff Ho , i thought they were disgraceful

driver - 06 Oct 2006 12:56 - 20961 of 27111

bosley
Yes but bos since you came back in your 50% down already so you fell for the hype, the spin, the bullshit second time round most of us only did it the once.
By the way I topped up today so its definitely now doomed.

Paperbackwriter - 06 Oct 2006 12:59 - 20962 of 27111

Robinhood,
That's what I was thinking. Why did they omit it this time?

oblomov - 06 Oct 2006 13:03 - 20963 of 27111

I disagree, bos, for the reasons already given. Mr Ho has thus far failed to answer my question and substantiate his claims of 'much, much worse'.

PM1 has reported him to the FSA.

bosley - 06 Oct 2006 13:05 - 20964 of 27111

driver, not quite. this time it was about staking a small amount on a dcb. got it wrong. it was a small amount so no harm done. anyway, with all your top-ups you must be a bigger shareholder than the age of reason now !!!! ;)

bosley - 06 Oct 2006 13:05 - 20965 of 27111

oblo,

"PM1 has reported him to the FSA."

lol. i might stop laughing next week sometime .....

driver - 06 Oct 2006 13:17 - 20966 of 27111

bos
Email sent.

oblomov - 06 Oct 2006 13:30 - 20967 of 27111

bos, if you do stop next week it will be before I do! But just reporting what I've seen, pots, kettles and the colour black notwithstanding. lol

tweenie - 06 Oct 2006 13:38 - 20968 of 27111

No suicides overnight I hope?
So much for news at 1pm re rescue and deals.
Ho-hum.
Guess I better earn some cash to keep the roof over my head.
the only saving grace of all this debacle is the missus can't say "I told you so"
as shes as stupid as I am.

oblomov - 06 Oct 2006 13:39 - 20969 of 27111

THINGS WE DID IN 2006

We waited, and waited, and waited for that oh so important RNS!

You'll be the death of this board if you keep posting images like that!!

The oily one

Tokyo - 06 Oct 2006 14:30 - 20971 of 27111

not all trades are being reported shown yet, bought over 700k this morning and can't see my trade on the trades page.

admitedly this is a small speculative buy as apart from their financial mess, they still have some great technology, also liked the RNS and then subsquent reporting of the funding in the times, who are normally on the money in such cases, although hardly surprising as most directors are more than happy to give them the story when it is in their favour.

My fingers are crossed for a recovery for you long term holders

good luck all

Tokyo

bhunt1910 - 06 Oct 2006 15:39 - 20972 of 27111

well it does not look like we are getting an RNS today does it

Perhaps Monday

Perhaps Tuesday
Perhaps........

oblomov - 06 Oct 2006 15:43 - 20973 of 27111

And waited, and waited, and waited...........

andysmith - 06 Oct 2006 15:45 - 20974 of 27111

AdieH, to answer your question? I have some cash ready and waiting should the financing look sufficient to see SEO through to profitability. I want to see a contract not trials and will research friends/contacts in the packaging industry for updates before I commit to buying any shares in SEO. Starpol could transform this company it is just a pity that a major league fuck up had to happen first. I don't care whether I pay 0.8p or 1.5p if it looks good, I will only have to commit <10% of my original sell value to get the same number of shares although I may increase to take account of all the bloody dilutions over the last year. Companies have come back from far worse, IF they can raise 13m from somebody then they will have to have proved that they are close to bringing something to fruition which will generate and cash and profits, if not then the 13m wallet holder is really dumb!! Hope its an institution and not a broker who will raise hopes and the sp, get rid of stock, take profit on sales and then not really give a shit what happens over the next 12 months.

LOLS!

On a general note, won't the instis already have short sold the shares weeks ago?
No contract announcement. And if there is (rather than talks/promises) it could well be eaten up in operating costs before any gain is accrued.

bosley - 06 Oct 2006 16:28 - 20976 of 27111

andy, institutions didn't touch seo when all was hunky dory, i can't see them getting involved now unless it's some special situations fund.

zscrooge, it tickled you, too?

driver, got your email, reply sent ... but you already know that .

maestro - 06 Oct 2006 16:39 - 20977 of 27111

heard a whisper monday..enyoy the weekend

Oilywag - 06 Oct 2006 16:42 - 20978 of 27111

bosley

Fidelity Asset Management in the shape of Andrew Bolton took a lot of the last tranch of shares at 8.1p to raise capital.

They might want to average down!?!

Institutions now will only touch this company if there are cast iron contracts to support the share price and indeed raise it considerably above present levels.

The oily one

hewittalan6 - 06 Oct 2006 16:49 - 20979 of 27111

Not only will institutions want to see concrete contracts, they will want to analyse those contracts to ensure they are worth something.
After all, the management managed to get a contract on THREE seperate occassions, with one of the biggest supermarkets in the country. This contract is there and operational yet somehow, not only did they get it so badly wrong they are making no money from it 2 years later, but it is actually a hinderence to other contracts.
I am a supporter of SEO and I know the Asda stuff is happening (subject to SEO's existence), but for crying out loud, if SEO have signed a hundred contracts, it is worth nothing if they will take 2 years to move and still not be prfitable.
There. Disgruntled rant over with.
