being covered in ice cream would certainly make me shudder

MightyMicro - 15 Dec 2004 22:43 - 20962 of 23498

Don't mention it in current company, but I had the lamb for Xmas lunch. Went down well with a rather fine Rioja.

jeffmack - 16 Dec 2004 08:13 - 20963 of 23498

Another wet day in old gotham town.

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 08:17 - 20964 of 23498

Morning Jeff, I will soon get better. That nice warm office surrounded by your hi-tech lovverlies. Would you like a coffee?

Spaceman - 16 Dec 2004 08:22 - 20965 of 23498

Morning all, still got the cold...

Time for a lemsip I think.

jeffmack - 16 Dec 2004 08:23 - 20966 of 23498

opto
Godd man, only half day at work today and then the delights of Lakeside this afternoon.

mg - 16 Dec 2004 08:28 - 20967 of 23498

SpacePilot
I always find that half a bottle of Jamiesons always does the trick - doesn't necessarily cure the cold but you couldn't give a f@@@ after consuming said medicine. And don't let anyone tell you it's too early - they just want you to suffer.

Dr. mg

Jeff it's so miserable today the fish will be asleep on the bottom, throw a stone in that should waken them up.

Priscilla - 16 Dec 2004 08:44 - 20969 of 23498

good morning, my little treasures!

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 08:46 - 20970 of 23498

Morning P, now that's nice you're getting to know me now :-))

Spaceman - 16 Dec 2004 08:49 - 20971 of 23498

Dr Mg, thanks for the prescription, I will give it a try ;-)

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 08:57 - 20972 of 23498

Jeffie,

You wouldn't be an angel and go to Bluwater instead of Lakeside would you please? Perhaps you'd pop into John Lewis for me and find out if they do soda syphon cartridges.

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 09:00 - 20973 of 23498

Is Lakeside a shopping center, I thought it was a fishing venue :-)

Mrs Lambykins - 16 Dec 2004 09:00 - 20974 of 23498

Well he is back in the field with us all now, he is feeling very sheepish(excuse the pun). He would not go into much detail but he insists that he and Spaceman were camped on the roof of Spacemans house for 3 days watching the girls school across the road on a 'mission'. He was not too sure what the mission was but he did say how lonely Spaceman had been over the last few weeks.

He seemed excited that they were setting up a new cafe together next year, but he was unsure how this would fit in with all his other work as chairlamb of so many FTSE companies.

As a special treat for Xmas, Lambykins has bought the kids their own Hornby electric fence to play with, should make for some entertainment on Christmas morning.

jeffmack - 16 Dec 2004 09:00 - 20975 of 23498

Hils
Spend 10p and ring them you old tight wad

jeffmack - 16 Dec 2004 09:02 - 20976 of 23498

opto, now I understand your strange post. Lakeside is a shopping centre.

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 09:02 - 20977 of 23498

Lakeside's a chav mecca, Opto. Jeffie will no doubt be stocking up on Burberry and Nike whilst on his pilgrimage.

Bullshare - 16 Dec 2004 09:03 - 20978 of 23498

Daisy; how naff, a soda syphon cartidge, I didn't have you down as a blue rinse lady.

Doris

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 09:05 - 20979 of 23498

Tried that Jeffie. The Rachel on the other end of the phone didn't even know what a soda syphon was.

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 09:07 - 20980 of 23498

They're all the rage, Doris. They look smart alongside my Betty Boop salt and pepper pots.
