THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Taking point for your spouse is very common. I know three mums who do the school run and would have lost their licences except for their husbands taking the points. One keeps doing right turns when not allowed and another speeds.

CH's wife has pleaded NOT guilty. She is going to have a tough time with that.

Quote:

"And now we face a by-election in Eastleigh, formerly a Tory/Lib Dem marginal. It is hard not to see the Lib Dem vote collapsing given that they are nationally hated and the circumstances of the contest. In that part of the world Labour is about as popular as the late Jimmy Saville and so UKIP will be licking its lips. There is no threat of “letting Labour in” by voting UKIP in this one-off contest. One imagines that the traditional Tories of Eastleigh are not exactly enthused by the tone of Call Me Dave’s conservatism. And so this may be the day. The odds have to be on a result of Conservative, UKIP, Lib Dem, Labour and then the assorted loons, but you never know. I would imagine that round at UKIP headquarters the excitement is tangible."

Should add a little bit of spice to Cameron's rituals!

A Champions League tie played in England is one of 380 matches across Europe investigators say was fixed.

European police did not reveal the identity of the match they believe was corrupt in England.

But Europol did say that they had uncovered an organised crime syndicate based in Asia that was co-ordinating the operation.

Europol's investigation
Inquiry started 18 months ago.

Initially involved Germany, Finland and Hungary, before being extended to Slovenia and Austria.

Ended up looking at 700 matches in 30 countries.

13,000 emails were analysed.

A total of 425 suspects were identified.

50 people have been arrested.

A number of criminal investigations now taking place.

Some 425 match officials, club officials, players and criminals are suspected of being involved.

At a news conference in The Hague, Netherlands, Europol claimed:
well they need just to look at results in the last month these foreign players
have killed football in the uk .

the corruption is now in the open paying good money to watch football is a joke
the match is fixed the players and officials are clening up

frankly MrT, i don't think you have a clue as to what you truly see as opposed to what you like to imagine you see ..... according to you, the uk is full of dogs, dagos, polacks, jews, wogs (sorry if that offends), and any other number of others that you believe do no work, pay no taxes, rape young girls, live off the state and backhanders, and should be confined to kennels (except that is too good for them)

all in all, it is incredible that you still choose to live in uk, rather than spain, where you seemingly like to go (and own property probably) - except of course, it's full of those damned dagos - except in marbella where it's full of crooks, ageing gigolos, arab ne'er-do-wells and other undesirables

Iain
I hope the above is taken in the spirit intended - i.e. as a reflection on how MrT sees the populace of uk
