Latest update is SW is thinking about going into intensive care but not even that is thought to be able to rescue the position he has now put himself in.
Shame!

snappy - 19 Dec 2005 16:36 - 2098 of 2262

yuffer - so have you got the 10% support needed to call an EGM? and do you think you can persuade another 65% of the vote to back the fanatics?

I am in agreement with blinger that there will be no EGM motions from the fanatics.

All huff and puff

blinger - 19 Dec 2005 17:15 - 2099 of 2262

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only motions the cardies will go through are gallons of BS.
Bit like that announcement above, another order for TAD to lose money on in bucketfuls, and I mean the group, goodness knows the overheads must be about 150 % of group turnover now, what a shambles.
No update from the Emergency Ward then?, they must all be tranquilised.

Don't listen to blinger he is best squelched. An EGM will be called if it is the best action to move forward, SW knows we have the required 10% which is why he has called off his EGM as he is unsure of how much we do have and is afraid of losing. Unfortunately for him the game is already up and it is only a matter of time before he claims his welfare benefits, obviously we won't be telling him or you how much we do have, but rest assured if he doesn't go quietly he will be kicked out, cheapest and best option is to remove him and DIits at the AGM.

Does Tad still have any link with Softbank - I only ask because of yesterday's news of a tie-up between Softbank and Yahoo Japan.

yuff - 20 Dec 2005 11:46 - 2103 of 2262

Pach
Yes they do, due to get $1.5m from them before dec 31st.

pachandl - 20 Dec 2005 12:33 - 2104 of 2262

Cheers Yuff. So, what scope is there for Tad with this tie-up between Softbank and Yahoo Japan (starting capital given to create on-line broadband download of films etc - see today's DT).

Think streaming video is totally different to what is involved for downloading games etc
So don't think there is any potential there for Tad although I have not read the article.

pachandl - 20 Dec 2005 14:22 - 2106 of 2262

I assumed so as well but thought I would check just in case I was missing something. Cheers.

Poor old yuff hiding behind his squelcher, dreading to face up to the fact that I have had more experience of company law and board rooms than he has had dozes of mogadon.
The astounding thing is that a bunch of (alleged) adults really think they can get 10% of the shareholding together , call an Emergency(sic) General Meeting, and procede to sack half of the board, I mean what ARE they on?.
Well we all know what poor old yuff is on , prescription stuff, but surely all the cardies can`t be in `Emergency Ward 10 Psychiatric Unit`, although holding TAD for ten years is a fairly good guide to their cerebral state.
Erm, a small ROFLOL!! is occasioned one thinks.

Just another comment from the cutting edge of yuffers` total knowledge of, well everything really, to precis his incisive response--- "I haven`t read the article but its wrong anyway".

blinger - 21 Dec 2005 20:26 - 2112 of 2262

Apologies to the TAD lover on iii, but I could not resist following his satire - in reverse----- it seems however that any mention of a US member of the team on iii
is censored, but hey , any bb that censors the the word ` pussy`, is not healthy
.So it has to be done from memory---

IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Dec 22, 2005 -- Stream Theory, Inc., a division of Tadpole Technology plc (LSE: TAD), today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement for StreamFlow with UK-based Nexus Entertainment Services Limited. Nexus Entertainment Services will use Stream Theory's technology as the platform on which to distribute PC Games-on-Demand (GoD) for business partners throughout the United Kingdom.

Almost three-quarters of home Internet users in the UK have a broadband connection, according to new data from Nielsen//NetRatings. Games-on-Demand is a broadband-only service that streams games directly to a user's PC. Unlike one-time purchases at retail or through installed downloads, GoD subscriptions provide recurring revenue streams for game publishers and distribution partners. GoD has emerged as a new revenue-generating window of opportunity for a PC game after its brief sell-through period.

"Broadband access is growing in the UK at a blistering speed and forward-thinking companies are seeking value-added revenue-generating services to appeal to their broadband consumers. In coming days we will announce our first major partner for which we will operate a dynamic broadband Games-on-Demand service," said Alun Williams, Managing Director of Nexus Entertainment Services. "Stream Theory's platform and support will help us provide excellent service to our customers and their end users."

As of the second quarter this year, the UK stood sixth in the world in terms of broadband subscribers based on data from Point Topic, and the continued migration of Internet users to high-speed means that the UK will remain locked in with France as the top broadband markets in Europe. eMarketer predicts that the UK will be the largest broadband country in Europe by 2008.

"Nexus Entertainment is working with some of the biggest names in game and entertainment content distribution," said Steig Westerberg, CEO of Stream Theory. "We're proud that they have selected our technology as the backbone of their on-demand distribution network."

About Nexus Entertainment Services

Nexus Entertainment Services Ltd. was founded in February 2004 to provide broadband-centric entertainment services. Initially the company will combine its revolutionary approach to broadband Internet with the market potential of the video game sector to develop and operate an online video gaming service.
