I disagree, bos, for the reasons already given. Mr Ho has thus far failed to answer my question and substantiate his claims of 'much, much worse'.
PM1 has reported him to the FSA.
LOLS!
On a general note, won't the instis already have short sold the shares weeks ago?
No contract announcement. And if there is (rather than talks/promises) it could well be eaten up in operating costs before any gain is accrued.

andy, institutions didn't touch seo when all was hunky dory, i can't see them getting involved now unless it's some special situations fund.
zscrooge, it tickled you, too?
driver, got your email, reply sent ... but you already know that .

Fidelity Asset Management in the shape of Andrew Bolton took a lot of the last tranch of shares at 8.1p to raise capital.
They might want to average down!?!
Institutions now will only touch this company if there are cast iron contracts to support the share price and indeed raise it considerably above present levels.
The oily one

Not only will institutions want to see concrete contracts, they will want to analyse those contracts to ensure they are worth something.
After all, the management managed to get a contract on THREE seperate occassions, with one of the biggest supermarkets in the country. This contract is there and operational yet somehow, not only did they get it so badly wrong they are making no money from it 2 years later, but it is actually a hinderence to other contracts.
I am a supporter of SEO and I know the Asda stuff is happening (subject to SEO's existence), but for crying out loud, if SEO have signed a hundred contracts, it is worth nothing if they will take 2 years to move and still not be prfitable.
There. Disgruntled rant over with.

An interesting piece on the Ho debate with some good points here from PM1 - posting it because I know most are 'locked out'. Those fans of Mr Ho may see him in a different light after reading this!

Hi Stan,
Ho is just like EK, if you remember EK shorted Stanelco, until I sent him all the EVO notes and other info, pointing out his short was based on no research at all (he then went long !!), and so was that of Ho when he started telling the world to short SEO back at over 8p ??
If he hadn't jumped in with his shorting and bashing, Stanelco could have got TEN TIMES the placing value they can now, after he has instigated the destruction of Stanelco's SP, so you can list all the people on this website that you like, and I bet you that every single one of them would have much preffered a placing worth TEN TIMES what they are getting now, or dilution of ONE TENTH of what we are getting now, or anywhere in between.
Ho has picked the bashers favorite subjects and pumped them with the power of the press, ignoring any positives, and all the potential, including imminent MMF deals and GreenSeal rollout for ASDA salad bags, in fact he has ignored EVERYTHING on this Website and forum, and just looked at the books, and the bashers attacks on the BB's, just like EK did, but EK knew he was wrong the moment he set eyes on an EVO note.
I have seen Ho saying that Stanelco will go bust soon because nobody would lend them the money, now why would that be ?, lets rewind to 10p, would they have got enough money to last another year with 318m shares in a placing, yes, because the stock hadn't been shorted to death, so the fact he has told the world to short Stanelco down to 1p and now less, means they can't raise enough money to last one year without a huge placing or rights issue.
Ho has destroyed Staneclo's ability to finance at a level that is right and fair, based as it should be in the most part, on the companies NAV, IP value, and potential.
Maybe you should nip over to MAM and ask which other names he uses on BB's to bash Stanelco, and which other shorters and bashers he has for his best friends, maybe ask which one's pay for his hoilidays, new car, etc.
Cheers,
Paul

What a load of crap. SEO's price is on its knees solely becuase no cash left, no sales yet and nobody believes a word anymore after all the false estimates in the form of RNS's and brokers notes. Can't blame Ho for that unless you add Ward White on the end.

What a load of utter tosh. Oblo, your credibility is zero, given that you believe that post by Masterson is "interesting." Just like EW Robson (where is he), another poster purporting to be Mr Reasonable.
EVO notes and research. LOL. All the fault of big bad shorters and magazine pundits. More LOLS.
"Ho has destroyed Stanelco's ability to finance at a level that is right and fair." More drivel.

Oh no, guys - come on.
Wake up!
Never mind, "Ho has destroyed Staneclo's ability to finance at a level that is right and fair, based as it should be in the most part, on the companies NAV, IP value, and potential."
What about "If he hadn't jumped in with his shorting and bashing, Stanelco could have got TEN TIMES the placing value they can now, after he has instigated the destruction of Stanelco's SP, so you can list all the people on this website that you like, and I bet you that every single one of them would have much preffered a placing worth TEN TIMES what they are getting now, or dilution of ONE TENTH of what we are getting now, or anywhere in between."
Not only drivel, zscrooge, but if I were Geoff, I know what I would do now.
Edit: forget it, the whole of PM's note is ridden with libel.
I'm trying to wind down, it is Friday after all - and that guy really winds me up.
And, err ... just looking at the books?
That is the bottom line!

I go to bed far happier than I woke up.
Good night all.

I said it was interesting, Zscrooge, not that I agreed with everything in it (particularly the final paragraph)! I'm sure no one needs reminding that I'm no great fan of PM1's!
Over the top in typical PM1 style, full of libel, mostly tosh, but I still think it has a grain of truth in that the tippers such as TB and GeoffHo turned negative at a crucial time in the fund raising negotiations. TB in particular still had SEO at a buy to 15p and a target 50p - he went to a hold, said nothing for weeks and then its a sell. All this on the assumption that SEO wouldn't raise the cash. It would surely have been better for the followers they had put into the stock if they had waited to a stage where it was certain there would be no funding forthcoming?
As it is, it looks a possibility that they got it wrong - there are strong indications that funding is imminent.
TB, Shares Mag, RHPS and others have a big following. Might we not now be looking at funding nearer 2p or even higher if not for their sudden negativity?
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to see one of PM1's post here. He has a unique style - 95% tosh but sometimes 5% substance if you're lucky enough to find it!

Oblo,
You can't seriously believe the fall in share price is down to Geoff Ho?! Take a look at the once loyal holders' posts on this board, to see the disillusionment creeping in over the past few months. Look at the RNSs promising the world but failing to deliver, or the fact the company is going to run out of cash any moment - this is why the share price is going down the pan.

Not disputing that, Aldwickk - I'm just commenting on one PM1 post and then only saying IMO that there is a grain of truth in it.

oblo, the one saving grace in all this debacle is that we arn't subjected to pm1shite. please, don't do that again 'cos you've just made me bring my full english back up. yes it was typical pm1, 100% bollox. there is no truth in it at all.
