Daisy; how naff, a soda syphon cartidge, I didn't have you down as a blue rinse lady.

Doris

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 09:05 - 20979 of 23498

Tried that Jeffie. The Rachel on the other end of the phone didn't even know what a soda syphon was.

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 09:07 - 20980 of 23498

They're all the rage, Doris. They look smart alongside my Betty Boop salt and pepper pots.

hilary - 16 Dec 2004 09:14 - 20981 of 23498

The chrome ones are the nicest.

Where do you girlies fit the battery's in this latest Ann Summers product?

Meanwhile, on another subject:

I see 'Fibulater Blunkie' has resigned, this got me thinking; when your normal lyin', cheatin', theavin',scoundrel Minister Politician [you know ...all of 'em ] resigns [?] they obviously lose their perks ie the ministerial car.

Will Blunkie lose his dog?*

*S'pose if he does he's still got Virginia [not a very apt name!].

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 10:01 - 20983 of 23498

Another point is will the dog be able to travel too and fro Europe when Mr Blunket is made an European Commissioner, I presume he will be made one, most of them are.

little willie - 16 Dec 2004 10:32 - 20984 of 23498

Good point Opto but no doubt Neil & Glynis will have that one covered plus I
daresay 'Mandy raise my Shirtails' will be on tap to assist wherever and whenever.

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 10:49 - 20985 of 23498

LW, I think Mr Blunket will have to rely on the guidance of Mandy as Neil has returned home to take up a seat in the House of Lords, a place he has always been VERY fond of :-))

stockbunny - 16 Dec 2004 10:52 - 20986 of 23498

Morning People!
More Christmas food and drink favourites please - I'm compiling a
list to plan the menu
:>)

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 11:14 - 20987 of 23498

Morning Bunny, can I have a packed lunch please I've got to go out?

stockbunny - 16 Dec 2004 11:22 - 20988 of 23498

For today Opto?
OK....raiding fridge and cupboards...........
How about:
A couple of roast beef sarnies (no fat of course!) with a thin
layer of horseradish sauce in them too.
A slice of chocolate cake - plastic fork optional with that.
And a bunch of sweet seedless grapes and a satsuma.

(well it is only the week before Christmas after all, so no
guilt trips on the chocolate cake!)
:>)

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 11:25 - 20989 of 23498

Everything fine there Bunny, but no horseradish please, reckon that will be better than my evening meal!!

stockbunny - 16 Dec 2004 11:35 - 20990 of 23498

Ok I'll leave out the sauce then and put just a sprinkle of salt
on the beef - found a nice bit of lettuce too so I'll pop that in
with it instead!

Time of a cup of tea before you disappear out Opto?

optomistic - 16 Dec 2004 11:39 - 20991 of 23498

Yes please always time for a pot of tea:-) Did I hear you say SALT!!!

stockbunny - 16 Dec 2004 11:44 - 20992 of 23498

A mere and tiny sprinkle Opto and no more - of course!
:>)

stockbunny - 16 Dec 2004 12:05 - 20993 of 23498

******BUNNY AT LUNCH, PLEASE HELP YOURSELVES!********

This_is_me - 16 Dec 2004 12:15 - 20994 of 23498

I was going to suggest a terrier for the new caf. to keep the rats under control, but it doesn't seem to be a good day to have a pet, especially a flea bitten dog!

MightyMicro - 16 Dec 2004 12:24 - 20995 of 23498

Hils: A Sparklets soda syphon! You sweet old fashioned thing, you.

chocolat - 16 Dec 2004 12:40 - 20996 of 23498

Cats love 'em, MM. ;)

This_is_me - 16 Dec 2004 13:21 - 20997 of 23498

Since bunny is out I'll have some rabbit pie and a glass of soda water. It's all I can afford after AHT dived despite beating market expectations. At least I picked up a few JRVS early this morning.
