Yeh right - and so are BPRG. Have you seen the price today? Shareholders jumping ship or are the shorters at work again - that's one thing that we don't have to worry about here at SEO (LOL). I'll buy BPRG again when they hit 60p.

AdieH - 09 Nov 2004 21:28 - 211 of 27111

Shorters on did you see the RNS!!!! Shorters having a field day with BPRG, still money to be made on the way up...

andysmith - 09 Nov 2004 22:32 - 212 of 27111

DSTOREY9916, been away in Deutchland for a few days buy hey, SEO finished, my arse!!! I expect some fall in share price if damages are high but what a buying opportunity that will be!! In April, SEO had 4m shareholder funds, now unless BPRG need all of that to make some money for once AND current SEO holders dessert and funds can't be raised then they will survive and what's more have an innovative concept that DOES work and could make serious dough.
I am a small private investor, having some fun!!! I have enough invested in SEO to make me some good money but not enough to be the end of the world.
I know sod all about Bollinger bands but working in packaging as I do, I know the potential of SEO's development and whats more can see other potential for it. Perhaps I should meet Balchin and get on the payroll for some of his options!!!! Only joking, don't like the way he acts with his options and with this cc, then again I could make myself rich!!

Anyone would think that BPRG are the best company around the way some go on about it, if so good why the 35% drop recently?? When will they make profit and why did they approach SEO about RF in the first place, and with no money made by this process yet how can they expect millions in damages????
Is it right that a potential BPRG profit stream has gone tits up cos the kit doesn't work?
Hope you do all right though 'cos I am not self-righteous enough to want other investors to lose their shirts, especially SEO ones where there is a winner stuffed up the sleeves just waiting for this shitty case to wind up.

Good Luck and may we all be profitable.

STRONG RISE TODAY...WHAT IS THE RATIONALE?

bosley - 16 Nov 2004 09:01 - 214 of 27111

have a look at this then.

Stanelco Plc

Stanelco to conduct full-scale commercial trials of tray-lidding technology for
Asda

Stanelco PLC, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, is pleased to
announce that after the successful completion of a series of protocols regarding
the high integrity sealing of Microwaveable Food Trays (CPET) and Foil food
trays, it has agreed with Asda to commence full-scale commercial pack-house
trials with a nominated Asda supplier.

Should these trials conclude successfully, the company expects that Asda will
proceed to introduce this process into other parts of its supplier base.

The benefits of Stanelco's RF technology in the tray lidding process are
significant and multi-faceted. The RF seal eliminates leaking trays, is 20% more
efficient in terms of materials costs and is more energy efficient. The trays
are fully recyclable.

Asda is one of the UK's leading supermarket retailers and is part of the
Wal-Mart family. Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world.

In addition to the trial with Asda, Stanelco has agreed to the commercial trial
of its tray lidding technology with another major multi-national food packaging
company. This is in addition to the previously announced trials with Grampian
Country Foods Group and Oscar Mayer. Stanelco expects to be able to report
further details following the successful completion of these trials.

Stanelco's tray lidding technology is unaffected by the current patent dispute
with BioProgress and is now the major driver of future revenue within Stanelco's
business.

Ian Balchin, CEO, of Stanelco commented:

'We are delighted to be working with Asda. This is an opportunity to demonstrate
to an end user, the commercial and environmental benefits of our revolutionary
tray lidding and thermo forming system. This agreement also gives Stanelco
access to a major US retailer.

There is significant excitement in the market surrounding the massive savings
that are derived from the elimination of leaking packs and the lower cost of
materials.'

now , if seo was on its arse as some people think then why would such companies want to do business with it?

bosley - 16 Nov 2004 09:53 - 216 of 27111

well done all those who stuck with it. nice gain if you got the bottom.

bosley - 16 Nov 2004 13:48 - 217 of 27111

just having a closer read of todays statement.a few words and phrases stand out ofr me. firstly the reassurance from seo that this side of the business is not affected by the current dispute with bprg and also saying what we all wanted to hear: that this is what they are going to concentrate on .

"Stanelco's tray lidding technology is unaffected by the current patent dispute
with BioProgress and is now the major driver of future revenue within Stanelco's business."

also , for a company like asda to be able to save 20% in material costs and to be able to brag about using totally recyclable packaging is going to make them happy. something else that is important is the phrase

" This agreement also gives Stanelco access to a major US retailer."

IF this does happen then tim freeborns astronomical figures of 1 a share a year start to become a touch more realistic.
now wouldnt that be nice!!!
( ok im ramping a little , but , i can dream ....cant i?)

just looked at trades and so far sells and buys are even.

tipton11 - 16 Nov 2004 15:26 - 218 of 27111

extremely good news, on past history there may be a small dip to give another buying opportunity then an anxious wait for a favourable result...yes a good time for us all to dream.

emailpat - 16 Nov 2004 17:09 - 219 of 27111

bosley-well done,if we can take anything from past events imo it is this...
If you beleive why you bought in, then barring a disaster just treat these events as a opportunity to buy more and don't budge and only take respected views, good or bad.

hlyeo98 - 16 Nov 2004 20:39 - 220 of 27111

Bosley... I am still in it with u...do u think I should buy more?

andysmith - 16 Nov 2004 22:02 - 221 of 27111

hlyeo98, on this I have posted several times about this technology and that I think it's a winner, I work in packaging if it helps. My only concern was could they survive the patent dispute. Several on BPRG think SEO in shit creek.
I have recently (last week) talked to the CEO and now have confidence in both ability to deal with cc damages/IB's actions with his options and the most important thing to longterm investors, the future.
Todays RNS is the best endorsement yet, Asda (Walmart) would not run such a project with a company going bust, if Asda approve they will specify. ANO supermarket is close aswell, one of the biggies, and the other will undoubtedly follow, with momentum and the power of supermarket groups this really will be a winner. Think 25% success rate in the market, 25p EPS and PE ratiox10 (modest!!) and it's too much to contemplate. Am I mad? but every so often there is a hell of an opportunity to make serious dosh & this could be it. Think 10% success rate and PE ratiox10 and still makes a good profit, dare we think about 50%???

My conversation last week, this endorsement from worlds No1 retailer and the fact that this technology works and has drivers such as supermarkets/costs/waste/recycling make this a BUY.
Hopefully we will look back at the last few months and won't give a monkeys toss whether we bought at 4p/5p/6p other than we could have had more for our dosh!!! Personally I will stock up after the court case is complete and we have got rid of the sellers and shorters. Your only question remains re:survival, if you think yes, you can only win from here with Stanelco.
Anything less than 4.5p is a excellent buy but don't worry about sp paid where this share is heading!!! Worth a slot in any portfolio. DYOR

dibbles - 17 Nov 2004 02:17 - 222 of 27111

andysmith..

bprg bb has mentioned ridiculous sums in damages which i can't see if only
because nobody profited and bprg are getting fully developed patent gift wrapped
and ready to go....
whats concerned me more and stopped me topping-up further is how are cardinal
reacting to this mess....
did ceo mention anything relevant to this?
thanks in advance......

AdieH - 17 Nov 2004 08:11 - 223 of 27111

Where have you got sums from, I haven't seen any figures mentioned... regarding the court case?

andysmith - 17 Nov 2004 08:12 - 224 of 27111

No comment on any reaction by Cardinal although I didn't ask.

AdieH - 17 Nov 2004 09:15 - 225 of 27111

Seems to good to pass up, have to admit that I have joined in. Lets hope the CC doesn't hit this too hard and onwards and upwards...

dibbles - 17 Nov 2004 11:44 - 226 of 27111

AdieH,

sums of 20m being discussed on advfn bb, i think it said somewhere that cc win
could be worth this amount and they have assumed this means damages whereas it
was probably refering to earnings as a result of patent use......
anyway i have topped up further this morning, as you say 'seems to good to pass up'.......

andysmith - 17 Nov 2004 13:22 - 227 of 27111

Welcome aboard AdieH, looks good from here for SEO and I am feeling very positive. Will make funds to top-up again but no doubt when any damages announced some will sell, sp go down and I will top-up then. It really shouldn't matter what price whilst this low in context with the potential.
Can't see 20m damages when no profits made yet, Did Jarvis even get that for the rail crash???

bosley - 17 Nov 2004 14:07 - 228 of 27111

where the bloody hell does 20m come into play ? if seo made 20m profit from the pill coating technology , then where is it in the results? flippin' heck!!!!!this is what i see. bgprg have potential. i have been in and out of bprg .but its basically a bb favourite. look at the thread and its all about people talking about trading it , not investing in it. a key difference when it comes to seo . most people are buying for a long term hold . yes it is blue sky . but not as much as some blue skies. it works . companies are now starting to use seo's technology because it works , it saves money and its enviromentally friendly . for the modern, publicity conscious company its basically the holy f**king grail. when i frist heard about seo and their packaging technology two names were mentioned as being interested, one was sainsburys and the other was macdonalds.we now have asda ( walmart), maybe sainsburys is the other big name (supermarket ) that is mentioned. but for me , i really hope its macdee's. to me it makes sense. they work so hard on trying to show that they are not the irresponsible , bad for you , cutting down rainforests, glutton inducing, environmental destroying company that they are potrayed as. seo's packaging would be something to really brag about . all those cartons, biodegradable. here is macdees, saving the world.nice thought , eh? we will have to wait for the anouncement , which , if seo are true to form , will come shortly after some bad news , possibly after the cc final ruling and damages claim is settled.( it cant be just me who has noticed a pattern).anyway , like andy says anything below 4,5p does look like a good buying opportunity. dyor and best to all .

dibbles - 17 Nov 2004 14:10 - 229 of 27111

andysmith.

my point exactly, as bprg didn't follow up on rf, i don't see how they can
claim loss of earnings etc.
hopefully it will all be sorted soon with not too much damage done as these
developements in lidding look huge........
