Philip Lovegrove and Ian Balchin have pleged to take up their offer allocation.
I wonder if Age of Reason will similarly agree? What is the effect of them not doing so?

I was puzzled that not all of the directors would be subscribing for theit maximum allowance of shares !!
Does not inspire confidence

From KimOldfield
This bit made me smile:-
LONG TERM INCENTIVE PLAN ('LTIP')
The Directors believe that it would be in the best interests of Shareholders to
set up an LTIP to ensure that Martin Wagner and Clive Warner are appropriately
rewarded if the Company achieves certain goals. The Company is therefore
intending to prepare such a scheme which it aims to put in place at the earliest
possible opportunity. A further announcement will be made by the Company at the
appropriate time.
as an observer it made me smile too KimO
But it also made me incredulous. The Company's "certain goals" should be to get rid of these 2, i.e. "rewarding" them with a legal minimum 1 week a year-service redundancy cheque. If they stay on, any shares they get for the foreseeable future should be out of their own pocket
Totally and utterly unbelievable and greedy comment that underlines the true management here. It doesn't just take the biscuit it takes the whole tin

The only Directors with shares (last full year A/cs) were Lovegrove and Balchin so only they can have something to accept and subscribe for.

Of course the RNS leaves one major question unanswered;
Who is going to organise the MAM coachtrip to Southampton, so we can all sit at the back and throw empty beer tins at the directors???
;-)

These two have not been Directors for that long (Wagner since Nov 05 and Warner earlier this year).
Although they may not be blameless, I think the real dissatisfaction should be with what they inherited.
I think Wagner is actually getting on with things far better and making progress. The next few weeks will confirm or dispel my thoughts. I just hope he is fitted up with a microphone at the EGM!

I believe SPhere (formerly SP metal) is privately owned so no BB likely. It is French.

Wimp, Alan. Sit at the front and throw full ones as usual!
At last the waiting is over. Howard White should really confirm his intentions, albeit hiding behind the trust status of Age of Reason.
Not much point in reading the bulk of it. If we do not fund the company it will go bust. So I guess I'm in - it won't exactly break the bank.

I hear what you're saying but if things are set to go so well they should be able to borrow money from friends, family etc and buy now. A 5p share price will then give them plenty to be happy about -- it is not as if there are no shares to be bought!!.
For these guys to get serious returns from a share incentive plan will mean more sizeable dilution going forward. Sounds like pigs at the trough to me

The exclusive agreement between ASDA and Stanelco for Stanelco's GREENSEAL
technology has been extended for another 12 months by verbal agreement as at 10
August 2006. The exclusivity will be waived after the first machine has been
installed in an ASDA packaging supplier's factory. This will then allow Stanelco
to roll out GREENSEAL to non-exclusive ASDA sites.
VERBAL AGREEMENT??.............Something to be brought up at the EGM.
I wish I could go but my shares are Nominee held so I will just have to stay on the bus!
