Easynet (ESY)

proptrade - 22 Jan 2004 11:27

i was wondering if anyone out there had any strong views? this company appears to be delivering and has just turned EBITA positive after a great trading statement last week. seems like upside to +200p once results are out.

any comments or thoughts would be appreciated.

ok, two day retracement and trading statement round the corner. feel well supported here judging by the price action and volume today. BUY.

gavdfc - 06 Jan 2005 18:46 - 214 of 602

Not worried about slight retracement, looking forward to the trading update. Hope you're keeping an eye on SIA Prop.;-)))

gavdfc - 08 Jan 2005 20:52 - 222 of 602

From today's Telegraph online:

"On Aim, broadband provider Pipex Communications rose 0.37p to 8.37p on heavy turnover of 16.7m shares. Dealers speculated the group will announce a tie-up with business telecoms provider Easynet, pegged at 105p."

not sure what this means but sounds good. trading statement out this month. i have a very good feeling about the contents and prospective future of ESY.

capa - 10 Jan 2005 10:54 - 224 of 602

must admit prop, I am very tempted to have my first top up whilst things are quiet

Prop I don't suppose when the trading results are coming out do you?

proptrade - 10 Jan 2005 11:09 - 226 of 602

all i know is that it is in Jan. It would be likely to be this week or next and my advise would be that if you want to take a position on the long side and feel as i do about the company then i would look to get in now ahead of the announcement.

the obvious risk is that with the meteoric rise recently the mkt is expecting a very solid statement. anything short of that could see the stock pull back a little.

My view is that the statement will exceed expectations but please please dyor.

Thanks for that Prop. I am already holding some of this stock. I like you do believe that ESY will certainly be a major player in the coming months.

slight concerns over 'positive broker comments' with no response in sp- I think they like us are waiting for news update.

proptrade - 10 Jan 2005 11:57 - 229 of 602

lizard...these things are up roughly 30% in the last few weeks! have faith sir.

the comments are all waiting to be reiterated after the update and the fact is that if this pause in the price is just a step to a new level that would be the perfect price action because 105ish would act as a new support level.

lizard - 11 Jan 2005 09:49 - 230 of 602

those 'positive' broker comments done the trick then!
