Morning all

DD - we were poor yesterday - quite happy to nick a win. At least we now know why we cant defend set pieces for toffee at the moment - the centre halves have been practising their long range shooting lol!!!

Starting the demolition on the house this week so will only be around occasionally for the next few days

Socrates - 20 Dec 2004 09:31 - 21168 of 23498

Good morning from a cold and frosty Cheltenham. It's a cornflakes and tea morning for me.

chocolat - 20 Dec 2004 09:33 - 21169 of 23498

Just cornflakes for me.

daves dazzlers - 20 Dec 2004 09:40 - 21170 of 23498

Steve , you had a nice touch on the bath,,all you need now are the logs to warm the fire !!

Good luck with the sledge hammer.

Socrates - 20 Dec 2004 09:40 - 21171 of 23498

Chocolat
I am glad you said that, we don't have any unjust cornflakes as far as I know (tee hee). Are you well today?

Oops, sorry Chocolat!

Socrates - 20 Dec 2004 11:48 - 21177 of 23498

If anyone wants a snack I have some hot mince pies with a brandy cream. Beware, they carry a government health warning, any more than two and you shouldn't drive for 12 hours afterwards.

chocolat - 20 Dec 2004 11:51 - 21178 of 23498

No probs for me there, Socks - from where I am I'd end up in the sea first.

Spaceman - 20 Dec 2004 11:51 - 21179 of 23498

Socs, they sound nice, are they large glass of brandy with a mince pie and cream floating in it?

2 for me please.

little willie - 20 Dec 2004 11:59 - 21180 of 23498

Morning people, I'll have a mincy please Socs but don't intend driving for 12 hours I'd fall asleep, anything over about 2 hours and I'm gone these days.

Mincy floater in brandy...sacriledge Spacie and then you want 2? No wonder Harold had a problem down your way.

It looks like my Christmas bonus is going down the toilet. Thanks to an untimely retracement in AHT I look like being 4th in the moneyam stockpicker of the year contest and out of the running for the cronic investors 2,000 top prize.

So it's ****** pie for Christmas and scrag end of ****** for New Year! I'll just have to tell the wife that I thought about buying her something expensive and it's the thought that counts!

stockbunny - 20 Dec 2004 14:14 - 21183 of 23498

Sit down T-I-M and have a beer - bad luck, but the new year may
make up for the shortcomings of the tailend of this one.
Tis the season to be jolly! :>)
