don't know! anybody ?

aldwickk - 10 Oct 2006 13:11 - 21173 of 27111

Your Broker can sell your rights in the open market.

aldwickk - 10 Oct 2006 13:17 - 21174 of 27111

I think the rights issue is going to flop, unless there is news of contracts with cash flow not to far behind.

Haystack - 10 Oct 2006 13:20 - 21175 of 27111

Rights cannot always be traded in themselves. It depends on the detail of the issue.

jimward9 - 10 Oct 2006 13:33 - 21176 of 27111

After this placing SEO will have enough spare cash, to list in the USA!!!

Haystack - 10 Oct 2006 13:43 - 21177 of 27111

Or pay for costly litigation.

zscrooge - 10 Oct 2006 13:56 - 21178 of 27111

I think its good of SEO to let private investors in on part of this offer.

LOL!!

jimward9 - 10 Oct 2006 13:33 - 21176 of 21177

LOL again. Do you think the rules in the US which are more stringent than on AIM would allow SEO to list?

antofelli - 10 Oct 2006 13:57 - 21179 of 27111

The only certainity is that the funds raised will be well over what they stated to need..... why?

WOODIE - 10 Oct 2006 14:02 - 21180 of 27111

as you know i am not a shareholder in this company, what i feel is the very importent question that you should try and find out before you decide to invest more money is , the shares that have a FIRM COMMITMENT is there a get out clause i.e if the share price goes below 0.80 can they can withdraw,or regardless of the price they are commited to go ahead.

WOODIE - 10 Oct 2006 14:08 - 21181 of 27111

its not a rights issue

Proposed Firm Placing of 1,375,000,000 New Ordinary Shares and

Open Offer of 600,992,559 New Ordinary Shares at 0.8 pence per New Ordinary
Share, of which 148,278,000 New Ordinary Shares are being placed subject to
clawback to satisfy valid acceptances under the Open Offer

jimward9 - 10 Oct 2006 14:12 - 21182 of 27111

zscrooge
I would think SEO feel guilty that the share price dropped so much, so they gave holders the chance to average down and recover losses, which I belleve they will.

I do not know the rules for listing in the USA, I just stated it is possible, if they are building production in the states then why not.

soul traders - 10 Oct 2006 14:22 - 21183 of 27111

Stockdog,

FWIW, the breakdown of major shareholders, according to my online broker.

Stanelco PLC
Major Shareholders

Shares in issue: 996.3m 0.1p Ords
Major Shareholders Amount % Holding
Age of Reason Foundation 217,078,122 23.12
Richards & Appleby Ltd 73,371,681 7.82
Barclayshare Nominees Ltd 60,892,255 6.49
Waterhouse Nominees Ltd 35,969,831 3.83
L R Nominees Ltd 31,507,514 3.36
FMR CORP and Fidelity Int Ltd 29,348,700 3.11

Other Directors Amount % Holding
Philip Albert Lovegrove 4,577,083 0.488
Ian H Balchin 1,640,000 0.175

= Director

As I pointed out the last time I posted this breakdown, it appears that the only major institutional holder is Fidelity. The nominee accounts strike me as being those of PI's, not institutional custody, indicating that there has been a low take-up of SEO stock by investment or pension funds.

WDIK, just conjecture.

robinhood - 10 Oct 2006 14:36 - 21184 of 27111

jimward...seo will ONLY get shareholders sympathy if they can actually get some ORDERS in the book, cos if not the shareholders are well and truly f****d . Forget about the jam tomorrow as there will not be any bread left to put it on

greekman - 10 Oct 2006 14:38 - 21185 of 27111

Robinhood,
Not going to, all I said was "I wonder how many have sold, just to get sufficient cash to buy their alloted number of shares at .8p".
IE sell a certain number when sell price was .9p, use cash to buy alloted number at .8p. OK I appreciate the alloted number would be less, due to any sale (3 for 5 held at record date).

boldtrader - 10 Oct 2006 14:39 - 21186 of 27111

zscrooge.SEO are not listed on AIM,if you're going to throw your twopenneth in at least get your facts right before you start.

automatic - 10 Oct 2006 14:52 - 21187 of 27111

48,000,000 whats this?

greekman - 10 Oct 2006 14:53 - 21188 of 27111

A crossover trade just gone through for plus48m, which at .87p looks very much like someone has an order in for this amount.
It's a hell of an amount even at that price. Yes someone (bet its an institution) is confident.

maddoctor - 10 Oct 2006 14:53 - 21189 of 27111

somebody don't want them , somebody does

PATISEAR - 10 Oct 2006 14:54 - 21190 of 27111

X Agency Cross or Riskless Principal at Same Price

rpaco - 10 Oct 2006 15:08 - 21191 of 27111

Who is Age of Reason foundation? If they hold 23% surely this goes against the very escence of their name.

I'm waiting to buy back in at 0.5p! (there is so much rubbish spouted on here that I though I would join in)
