Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

alan, just read your post on the seo thread about smithy. to be honest , i haven't met any man u fans who say smithy isn't good enough. i think the problem has been convincing him that midfield is his position and it looks like the coaching staff have done that. he seems to be enjoying being in the thick of it in the middle of the park and has won his england call up as a midfielder. to me, what fergie is trying to do is to bring back in competitors and smith, rooney, ronaldo are certainly that.

Boz,
I think Fergie plays him too deep. At Leeds he spent a good few games as an attacking midfielder on the right and he was very good at breaking the game up long before it got to any danger area. He also looked very dangerous breaking into the box and won a lot of headers forward for the strikers to run onto.
If he could knock them down like that for Rooney and Van to run onto, you would be in business.
Seen a couple of MUFC games and when he has got forward to break, he still looks a big powerful handful for defenders to cope with.
You're very welcome to Rio, though. 8-)))

lol. rio is a good player when the medical team manage to extract his head from his arse!! they don't always have time to do so. i've said for a while that smith could be keane's replacement and he is doing a great job. as you said earlier, it doesn't matter where he is played. now if only fergie could find a way of letting ruud go somewhere else......

Rios pleats are actually stitches holding his brain together after it was extracted.
As a gooner, Sunday was the best result all round!
