why price holding up?

Why is it a sell, the price is the mid price for the delayed time it was dealt and with those two T trades as sells the market price would have fallen.

it does look as if they are sells. so why is the price holding up so well? unless they are discounted buys? doesnt really make sense to see sells outweighing buys so heavily and the price staying blue.

Definitely a buy! How do I know? - because I bought them! Only joking - lol! Difficult one to call as the typical sp 16.35p at the time and buys at 16.75p. Could be MMs giving a good price to get stock on board to prepare for the furious buying wave to come - a veritable tSEunamO!
Topped up yet again this morning so stake is pretty well back to its healthiest levels.
That was very clever, stockdog. I have this book entitled "I'll teach my dog 100 words" - I enjoy reading it to my grandson aged 3 - not sure whether he enjoys hearing it!

no probs, driver. ive had a great day off today . done nowt but lounge around, kept an eye on seo , had a bet on the horses (lost), and got to know my new phone. wonderful. the good stuff will soon be over cos my girlfriend will be home in a while and will nag me for not doing anything. not bothered. i needed some "me" time! price has held up really well considering the amount of sells today. i remember someone once said that that could be taken as a good positive sign.

Always put off today what you can do tomorrow. Women just don't understand us men. I don't go down the pub to drink, rather to make sure the landlord who is going through a messy divorce is OK. He needs comforting and support. Now tell me if I'm being a really good friend or not. Oh I'm so misunderstood.

Careful fellahs! We have some pretty shrewd female operators on this thread, e.g. dynamite (explosive), moneyplus (takes your last 1p), Ruthie (ruthless). Careless language could prove expensive! There may be others masquerading under noms de plume, never mind exotic plumage.
What we do have is a common esprit de corps: the future welfare of SEO leading to our future wealth. Becoming poised like a coiled spring. All efforts should be focused on topping up (achieved my daily quota again), maximising the potential. Even our spouses will be duly impressed!

Eric -disappointed to see you are not contributing your pearls of wisdom to the Election thread- it's a great discussion.

What is this landlord malarky - Seo you in the pub?
I like the SEO market makers - always put on a good spread for their friends. SEO's is one of the better spreads - only a small percentage 'tween bid and offer.

Bos, Ross Reiser is a machine manufacturer, the one signed up for 120 conversions over the first 12 months, sort of lost in the Asda furore.
Tipton, stop panicking about exclusivity deal, ASDA WANT EXCLUSIVITY, MEANS ASDA WANT THE TECHNOLOGY AND COST ADVANTAGE, MEANS IT WORKS. Exclusivity allows Asda exactly that and allows SEO to grow at a sensible and at the same time rapid pace.

If, as seems the best way forward, you were going to have an exclusivity deal then I can't think of a better firm to have it with that than Asda.

Paulo2, agreed. Asda will drive this forward. Experience shows Tesco follow and Sainsburys think about it for a while and miss the boat. Therefore once the exclusivity is complete, SEO will be a profitable, cash-rich company with the resources to tackle an eagerly awaiting Tesco, sainsbury and Morrisons.
Cash now and cash later scenario, great!!

And don't forget the nice little cash cows in the background, supporting the shooting star. What a combination, what a company, share of the year. Hee Ho, SEO!
I'll sleep well after that euphorific experience! Eric

Amities / Slt .( Juste jabbering to myself ) Outside the domain of oil /gas/ alternative energies ,and commodities esp platinum, palladium, gold, silver, zinc, cobalt, copper, diamonds, all PNM s and heavy mineral sands , do i dare or rarely venture. More than ample money can be found in the engine room of the economy;- The energy sector. Like Warren Buffet i only invest in that area of the market in which my knowledge is extensive.- basically energy. And with oil @ $55 p/b the profits in this sector are phenomonal. ,,,,,So all in all:SEO was an odd creature for me to stumble upon; and especially in which to invest. . As i have always maintained i originally bought SEO on no more than a hunch and a series of chinese whispers that over a period of time began to constitute a set of consensus logics that led to my tracking it. .. At 4.25p its rapidly declining s/p reached its absolute nadir & suddenly encountered strong support and what with its chart screaming "BUY" that is exactly what i did. 250,000 @ 4.75.But being a percentages player, and what with SEO immersed in a long protracted trial and at that time not knowing what had happened to CEO Balchins 7m options , i sold at 6.80 on rumours of a deal with Robert Reisers proved to be correct .Banked 5k and walked away.No sooner had i sold when rumours abounded regarding interest from even bigger players i quickly realised my error and bought back into the market in two tranches of 200,000 and a furthur purchase of 100,000 at a median price of around 8p.With hindsight it was a good move; but there were times when i felt like i was hovering slightly above a very nasty sharp spike.A sword of Damacles scenario. But with SEO only forming less than 5% of my portfolio i did not let small interday movements and relentless selling harry me into a selling position. My own views were more than reinforced by others on this very board not only with extensive specialist knowledge of the packaging lndustry itself which easily eclipsed mine ; but coupled with thier confidence in SEO s actual product, and furthered, by thier own personal investment made it pure folly to sell. The rest is history.Todays price is 16.88 and what with my favourite variable -VOLUME being in excess of 15 million , and more to the point a plethora of 12 million sells @ between 16 and 17p v. 2 million buys yet mms adamantly refused tomove the s/p below 16p .There will be dips of course ( perhaps tommorow after todays sell off ) but i would suggest a heavy bridgehead of support at 15/16p has been tangibly established and the very slight resistance @ 17p which to my mind is totally unconvincing and no more than akin to a sandcastle on the beach awaiting the incoming tide to simply wash it away .l almost sense from board offerings lately that the pack has picked up the scent of its quarry and that the hunt is not far from the kill. And indeed SEO s promotion to a higher indices -fledgeling/smallap - will undoubtadly have the radars automatically picking up on this factor. As to any effect on the s/p of SEO is disputeable. .ln fact with a m/c of 130million it may be very soon finding a slot in the very lower echelons of the FTSE 350 ( lf it were to hit the 20p mark ) ,Wow, that would be some achievement . ,,,ln the meantime its back to the "waiting game " that utterly defines trading . One RNS away from clover i suspect. Only one thing concerns me . A rights issue is totally inevitable unless private capital is found as JKX did with private equity group, Benhams via convertible loan notes .That is a single possibility but highly unlikely .A rights issue would undoubtadly bring with it the accompanying dilution but would still give me/ you a chance to participate .But what of an attractive discounted private placing of 200 million + shares to be thrown among institutions at say 12p to ENSURE the raising of neccassary funds to finance plant and infrastructure ? Any comments ? bonne chance / a'bientot @+ J.

morning. andys, i recognised the name reiser, it was the ross bit that confused me. tfc, good summation of the current mood. i think you feel it too. i would prefer a rights issue to a private placing. i mean, if anyone should be getting discounted shares , it should be us, who have been with seo through the dog years. ftse 350 you say? nice. bring it on.
