Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

excuse me you guys - especially MrT - but per BBC this morning, it seems that at least most of the horse meat originated from Romania, was then shipped via Cyprus to NL (i think) and thence to Luxembourg and then to France for final processing
MrT - where stands your angelic Morrison's now, along with the other supermarkets? .... At least when i go to my butcher, I can see and choose exactly what I want

I would think over the next few months there are going to be a lot of overfed dogs with smiles on their faces queuing at Findus.

Just received a reply from David Cameron re an e-mail about the Immigration threat from Romania and Bulgaria immigrants flooding into the country after end Dec 2013.
The automated reply went straight to my 'Junk Tray', no doubt an indication of what the full reply will say.
Now let me guess.
1 Unfortunately due to our membership of the EU we are bound by EU law to allow these immigrants in.
2 We feel that the numbers being mentioned in the media, are exaggerated, and that the numbes will be far less than most people think.
3 We feel the benefits of allowing these people into the UK, will far outweigh the disadvantages.
Of course the answers will be worded in government speak, but will say still say similar!

Greekman - I find (3) particularly an insult to anyone with more than 1 brain cell and would love to see a list of these 'benefits'.

The real problem is the immigrants will be arriving with immigrant flu.
(Very virulent varieties, akin to Tinker and Greek varieties, which are very dangerous when tanked up.)
Only eradicated by Cameronian Huff and Puff, bought in any market and sprayed on in ever increasing doses.
Failing that, the isolation wards will be reopened for failing indigenous population.

i think MrT makes it very clear that he buys price NOT quality ..... i suppose all that meat will now go into his domestic freezer where it will not freeze fast enough (you need a blast chiller for that), will deteriorate and will probably end up with freezer burn - and be fit for the dog, along with his horsemeat
