rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.
for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ
for ease of reading, i have attached 1 year and 3 month charts in each instance

just banked 83 points on a Dax long, though (un)happily admit to nursing a larger loss on a short position (and ditto on Dow)
confess i cannot convince myself that we are truly heading for the sunny uplands, though doom and gloom seem detached from reality as well

just returned after a very enjoyable evening in a fairly smart tapas bar ...... big lunch so just snacked on iberico ham and olives and other light bites + a couple of glasses of very respectable rioja ..... ridiculously cheap at € 5,00 for a decent sized glass
