Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

The latest tit for tat is just more Tory in fighting. Let them rip into each other, everyone else stand back.
In an era where no one believes what any one says any more, the race is on for each side to get their vote out.

The only way to do it is to scare the bejesus out of your own supporters.
Britex will scare their supporters by claiming we are about to be swamped by migrants.
Vote In will scare their supporters by claiming the economy will collapse.

Neither side believes what the other claims. Game on. The new politics... scare the shit out of your supporters. Any wonder we give up on politicians.

will ,Steve Hilton lives in the USA now he is not involved in any Tory infighting ,get it right when you make a statement .

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 08:59 - 2129 of 12628

Get back to work .

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 09:00 - 2130 of 12628

Don't upset him jimmy he'll start throwing things .

will10 - 23 May 2016 09:05 - 2131 of 12628

jimmy boy

The twat was/is still a tory boy. Did he have to get out of the country first? . Statement still stands.

MaxK - 23 May 2016 09:07 - 2132 of 12628

I think the remain side are starting to panic, this isn't going the way they thought at all.

Wheeling out the lovies seems to have backfired. Ordinary people don't give a toss for Branson et al's scare stories from his private island.

jimmy b - 23 May 2016 09:11 - 2133 of 12628

will he is a uni lecturer ,he went because his wife had a job with Google i think.
I would think he would be a bit more clued up than you.

He most certainly does know more than me. Cameron will issue rebuttals very soon. The point I was making is it is Tory on Tory. We can stand back and let them slug it out.
Neither side believes anything the other says.
It's all about getting your sides vote out. The way to that is to scare them.
Also , let the boys in the Tory party rip into each other. All stand back please.

cynic - 23 May 2016 09:46 - 2135 of 12628

though freddy flintstone may wish otherwise, i don't think there will be any huge fallout in the tory party regardless of which way the referendum goes

had labour got anyone dynamic at its helm, then the story might be different, but corbyn contributes nothing and is unlikely to gain popularity let alone kudos from his "sit back and watch" attitude - but his spin doctors no doubt reckon that that is the limit of his capabilities

Those that want us to remain in this dodgy EU setup are looking at the future in a very narrow perspective and most probably in a selfish way !...... Best longterm prospects for Britain is to vote leave ! ....from my point of view : illegal immigration and nothing being done about it or very little has made me decide to vote for the leave camp as their arguments make better sense that the other lot....

will10 - 23 May 2016 09:47 - 2137 of 12628

Jimmyb

What does Steve Hilton lecture on.? Please ...don't say politics.

jimmy b - 23 May 2016 09:48 - 2138 of 12628

All the scare stories are from the Remain lot .

Isis would like us to vote out :)

An out vote would damage the NHS :)

Britain would be swamped with migrants from Calais :)

A plague of giant Locusts and giant Rats would invade the UK , i could go on but i'm laughing too much.

jimmy b - 23 May 2016 09:51 - 2139 of 12628

Have a look will you may be surprised.

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 09:52 - 2140 of 12628

Well done required field , as you say just looking on here you can see the one who's interests only lies in hatred and gain for themselves .

Riders of the storm.....

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 10:05 - 2143 of 12628

My hair is falling out quite a bit lately , that's Brexit .

will10 - 23 May 2016 10:11 - 2144 of 12628

Steve Hilton. Founder of political data tech start up and visiting scholar of London based right wing think tank. OK ......nothing wrong with that.

Not everyone votes Tory and not all Tories are right wing. But a lot of right wing Tory's will vote out.
If you want your supporters to turn out .. then scare them.

Same scare tatics apply to Vote In.

Still, it is fun to watch blue on blue fighting.

iturama - 23 May 2016 10:12 - 2145 of 12628

Try regaine Vicky, not to be confused with remain.

cynic - 23 May 2016 10:13 - 2146 of 12628
