mitzy - 15 Sep 2008 11:16

Philip Falcone is a disgrace to the Jewish people

janetbennison - 19 Sep 2008 11:18 - 215 of 569

I paid 2.90 for my shares a while ago so maybe soon I can get out of trouble. It is looking a lot better at the moment proving the hbos do not drop much. Good luck all

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 11:40 - 216 of 569

english tit has brought about demise of a bank that is STILL profitable......as for wales or welsh......lol they must be glad being part of uk just like isle of man, lol

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 11:40 - 217 of 569

falcone should be hung drawn and quartered......preferable on prime time tv so that people make money out of it, lol

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 11:42 - 218 of 569

The Hunters become the hunted like in First Blood, Stallone's best movie

Dil - 19 Sep 2008 11:44 - 220 of 569

Yes we are glad to be part of the UK and they can carry on subsidising as long as they want to scotty.

I do hope you get the independence you sooo long for cos by the time it happens the only oil left will be in the Irish Sea.

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 11:44 - 221 of 569

this is most stupid title of a thread......started on 15th sep and sp is almost 5 times from that stated!!!!! what a moron who started it up..........what other share is 5 times that from that predicted on a thread

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 11:45 - 222 of 569

Dil - 19 Sep 2008 11:45 - 223 of 569

Only cos they are now a wholly owned subsidary of Lloyds !

ateeq180 - 19 Sep 2008 12:06 - 224 of 569

DOES ANY ONE THINK THIS MIGHT HIT 300P,IF THE US MARKETS ARE HIGHER TOO THIS AFTERNOON,MAY BE MONDAY.

maggiebt4 - 19 Sep 2008 12:34 - 225 of 569

Will depend on how far lloys goes up since your getting 83 shares for 100. At min they're approx on same ratio as when deal was struck unless my calculations are wrong

maggiebt4 - 19 Sep 2008 12:34 - 226 of 569

I think

kimoldfield - 19 Sep 2008 12:43 - 227 of 569

At present prices HBOS is valued at 2.67 per share. It will no doubt change; which way though?!

ateeq180 - 19 Sep 2008 13:02 - 228 of 569

if americans are following the same news about short selling than i think we can see another upsurge in the price which is only my view.

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 14:51 - 229 of 569

hbos were valued at 5 fairly recently and are profitable company.......5 billion i think

Dil - 19 Sep 2008 14:53 - 230 of 569

Yeah Lloyds got a bargain.

scotinvestor - 19 Sep 2008 14:56 - 231 of 569

aye, as they know it will at least double, even treble in value in a few years time even from todays sp.
i'd have thought other banks would have capitulated 1st and not hbos.......barclays would be my bank to capitualate as it is in usa and needs about 5 billion to shore up

Dil - 19 Sep 2008 15:11 - 232 of 569

Smaller ones like BB. still look vulnerable.
