Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

He most certainly does know more than me. Cameron will issue rebuttals very soon. The point I was making is it is Tory on Tory. We can stand back and let them slug it out.
Neither side believes anything the other says.
It's all about getting your sides vote out. The way to that is to scare them.
Also , let the boys in the Tory party rip into each other. All stand back please.

cynic - 23 May 2016 09:46 - 2135 of 12628

though freddy flintstone may wish otherwise, i don't think there will be any huge fallout in the tory party regardless of which way the referendum goes

had labour got anyone dynamic at its helm, then the story might be different, but corbyn contributes nothing and is unlikely to gain popularity let alone kudos from his "sit back and watch" attitude - but his spin doctors no doubt reckon that that is the limit of his capabilities

Those that want us to remain in this dodgy EU setup are looking at the future in a very narrow perspective and most probably in a selfish way !...... Best longterm prospects for Britain is to vote leave ! ....from my point of view : illegal immigration and nothing being done about it or very little has made me decide to vote for the leave camp as their arguments make better sense that the other lot....

What does Steve Hilton lecture on.? Please ...don't say politics.

jimmy b - 23 May 2016 09:48 - 2138 of 12628

All the scare stories are from the Remain lot .

Isis would like us to vote out :)

An out vote would damage the NHS :)

Britain would be swamped with migrants from Calais :)

A plague of giant Locusts and giant Rats would invade the UK , i could go on but i'm laughing too much.

Have a look will you may be surprised.

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 09:52 - 2140 of 12628

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 10:05 - 2143 of 12628

My hair is falling out quite a bit lately , that's Brexit .

Steve Hilton. Founder of political data tech start up and visiting scholar of London based right wing think tank. OK ......nothing wrong with that.

Not everyone votes Tory and not all Tories are right wing. But a lot of right wing Tory's will vote out.
If you want your supporters to turn out .. then scare them.

Same scare tatics apply to Vote In.

Still, it is fun to watch blue on blue fighting.

iturama - 23 May 2016 10:12 - 2145 of 12628

Try regaine Vicky, not to be confused with remain.

cynic - 23 May 2016 10:13 - 2146 of 12628

may i refer you back to my post 2135?

jimmy b - 23 May 2016 10:16 - 2147 of 12628

iturama LOL !

Fred1new - 23 May 2016 10:19 - 2148 of 12628

Vicky,

I am surprised you have any left.

=-==-=-=

Corbyn seems to be watching the fight of the neo-fascists and the neo-libs which the tory party has fragmented into.

Don't blame him watching them implode.

Interesting, watching Austria fragment over the last year with political ideals similar to the Brexiters.

The effect similar to Lynton Crosby political engineering in the UK.

Reminds me of the Goebbels approach to power.

By the way wasn't Hitler an Austrian?

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 10:28 - 2149 of 12628

You have to wonder what's been going on for these situations to arise Freda don't you .

cynic - 23 May 2016 10:32 - 2150 of 12628

yes, and no doubt could have had a successful business as a painter and decorator - they're always in demand - and thus saved us all much grief

kurt waldheim of impeccable credentials was also austrian with a fascist background, as you will no doubt remember well

meanwhile, the significant rise of fairly extreme nationalist parties across europe is of considerable worry, though hardly unexpected in times of economic stress ...... turkey, poland, austria, france, hungary to name just a few and in no particular order

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 10:37 - 2151 of 12628

Freda I've said before Merkel is doing more damage to Europe than Hitler , Hitler was defeatable but Merkel is creating an impossible situation whereby she is turning Europe into Africa and the Middle East .

VICTIM - 23 May 2016 10:40 - 2152 of 12628

Impossible in that it can't be reversed .

will10 - 23 May 2016 10:55 - 2153 of 12628
