THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Ok, not to worry :-)

Stan - 12 Feb 2013 17:11 - 21368 of 81564

I'm worrying, thought they closed at 4.30 + 5.

cynic - 12 Feb 2013 17:13 - 21369 of 81564

IG cash FTSE = 6316/6319 = +1 since the close, as i write

this is the "real time" price if you're dealing in CFDs, so an s/b price or spread may be different, but i wouldn't have thought that it really should not vary much

skinny - 12 Feb 2013 17:14 - 21370 of 81564

Thanks cynic - I hope its CMC that's wrong!

Chris Carson - 12 Feb 2013 17:47 - 21371 of 81564

Caps spread price (incredible had to refresh off the chart)

6342.3 - 6343.3 + 67

cynic - 12 Feb 2013 17:50 - 21372 of 81564

sounds to me like you guys are getting badly stitched by your providers, especially if you have stops ..... certainly worth x-checking with IG with a view to changing

IG cash FTSE "real time" for dealing in CFDs is now 6325/6327

Chris Carson - 12 Feb 2013 17:52 - 21373 of 81564

Not trading it cynic, so not concerned.

3 monkies - 12 Feb 2013 18:02 - 21374 of 81564

Do live in or around Lancashire Stan?

cynic - 12 Feb 2013 18:06 - 21375 of 81564

even so chris, if Caps swindle their clients so blatantly on just the index ......

3m - that beef cheeks recipe worked a treat in the end; had some for lunch at the office

Chris Carson - 12 Feb 2013 18:29 - 21376 of 81564

Never had any problem cynic, prices are indicative so accept and trade accordingly.

3 monkies - 12 Feb 2013 18:56 - 21377 of 81564

I will make it sometime cynic - a little off my food at the moment, never felt good since the chest infection.

Stan - 12 Feb 2013 18:56 - 21378 of 81564

No 3 monkies, Shropshire, but support a Lancs football team.

3 monkies - 12 Feb 2013 19:34 - 21379 of 81564

Which one stan.

Stan - 12 Feb 2013 20:47 - 21380 of 81564

You obviously don't look at the Footy thread 3m -): Burnley.

3 monkies - 12 Feb 2013 21:04 - 21381 of 81564

Correct stan I prefer rugby. Football unfortunately or fortunately has never bothered me. Each and everyone to their own.

Haystack - 13 Feb 2013 00:48 - 21384 of 81564

Why would Amazon pay that much. They turnover about £3bn. They would only pay tax on the profit. Their margins on books etc are fairly small due to undercutting other suppliers. It looks another silly lefty idea.
