Re: Golf, saw that. Believe it or not when I started all this laying and backing business Woods was often 2-1 to win any major. I laid him nearly all the time it was a great profit centre. Harrington is playing well at the moment.

i spent most of last 18 mths laying woods - i remember laying him at as short as 5/4 (2.2). saying that was happy to lay at less than 5-1 for this tournament. will try and call you in the morning

off to a cracking start - traded the first race at aintree well and then let all the profit run on like a butterfly at 8.6 - greened up at 1.4 though could have let it run

Have made an interesting trade on Moscow Flyer - has never lost if it has finished and this looks a lot weaker than the cheltenham race. Have backed at 1.41 and layed the place for the same amount at 1.22. Effectively an even money bet that it will win vs not finish second - any other result is break even

Actually he backed it at the same price a few seconds later just to demonstrate the method. I was curious when the lay went on though.

I like taking risks! I did manage to trade the 15:20 as well while still doing the presentation.
