Hi Oily,

Happy 49th birthday!
Hope you are having fun.

(40 is the new 30)

Oilywag - 15 Oct 2006 01:24 - 21444 of 27111

Mmmm ... Just goes to show , huh? how information can be distorted, misinterpreted and misquoted!!

I did not say that it was MY birthday celebration, but that I was attending "a" 40th birthday celebration. It happened to be my cousin's b/day.

Paperbackwriter even got the assumed age wrong and said 49!!!

Now if people can mistakes over simple things like that, there's no knowing what sort of mistakes can be made with far more important bits of information like the IP rights etc between SPhere/Biotec, MMF in the US, Patents, how many Greenseal machines have been and will be installed and generally the future of Stanelco and the all important share price.

As bhunt1910, tonyrelaxes and Sharesure all know I am on the wrong side of 60.

Have got a very fuzzy brain right now and will try and sleep it off and get down to some posts tomorrow (Sunday)

'Night all

The oily one

Paperbackwriter - 15 Oct 2006 08:56 - 21445 of 27111

Oily,
Whoops, slip of the hand.
I meant to put 40, not 49.
I had a book signing session yesterday and grew my nails longer than usual to appear elegantly groomed. LOL.
I had really meant to put 40.
I hadn't read all the posts yet and saw all the birthday wishes and just added mine.
Of course, you're only 21, aren't you?

A very happy UNbirthday to you then.

boldtrader - 15 Oct 2006 09:43 - 21446 of 27111

Beg your pardon oily, you're most probably correct about reading wrong, still in anyhow. cheers.

nyleve - 15 Oct 2006 09:48 - 21447 of 27111

Hi all, at 72 I seem to be the oldest so far, that makes the wait for all the wonderful things that SEO have promised a little worrying, to say the least.
I keep taking the pills in the hope it will help me see it all come true !!!!!
I have left a forwarding address with my sons. lol

Dave

hewittalan6 - 15 Oct 2006 11:34 - 21448 of 27111

Dave, at 72 you are almost as old as the Asda contract. No time at all really.
Alan

nyleve - 15 Oct 2006 13:30 - 21449 of 27111

Thats true Alan !!!!!

http://www.mulley.net/2006/08/25/has-jarvis-cocker-been-writing-songs-with-twenty-major-cunts-are-still-running-the-world/

Jarvis Cocker - Cunts are still running the world. Give the video a chance. Theres 3-4 false starts before he launches into a working version of the song. The start of this song is kind of dodgy but ends really well. You can also hear the song on Jarviss MySpace.

Here are the lyrics:

Well did you hear, theres a natural order.
Those most deserving will end up with the most.
That the cream cannot help but always rise up to the top,
Well I say: Shit floats.
If you thought things had changed,
Friend youd better think again,
Bluntly put in the fewest of words,
Cunts are still running the world,
Cunts are still running the world.

Now the working classes are obsolete,
They are surplus to societies needs,
So let em all kill each other,
And get it made overseas.
Thats the word dont you know,
From the guys thats running the show,
Lets be perfectly clear boys and girls,
Cunts are still running the world,
Cunts are still running the world.

Oh feed your children on Cray fish and Lobster tails,
Find a school near the top of the league,
In theory I respect your right to exist,
I will kill ya if you move in next to me,
Ah it stinks, it sucks, its anthropologically unjust,
But the takings are up by a third, Oh So
Cunts are still running the world,
Cunts are still running the world.

Your free market is perfectly natural,
Or do you think that Im some kind of dummy,
Its the ideal way to order the world,
Fuck the morals, does it make any money?
And if you dont like it? Then leave.
Or use your right to protest on the street,
Yeah, use your rights but dont imagine that its heard, Oh no no,
Cunts are still running the world,
Cunts are still running the world.

Obe2konobi - 15 Oct 2006 16:43 - 21452 of 27111

greekman
Great post 21434. Although having said that, I do wish the final outcome will be somewhat different to the original.
If Alans post was entered into drivers reasearch pages then surely greekmans post must join him. A gem amongst the informed & educational posts and the pure drivel.

For all those fretting on boom or bust that are using spare pocket money, I will be paying back my various credit cards for a few years if this goes down the Orinoco without the biodegradable canoe or paddle but I am still sleeping like a baby at night and ready to take up the offer placed before us for averaging down at a decent discount if prices hold at present or even climb with renewed positive sentiment. I still believe that in a years time this period of uncertainty will be a really good story of daring wildcat white knuckel investing with a fairy tale ending.

All said and done, they have a leading edge on one of the hottest issues on the planet at present and surely for the future, and one in which we can all feel good in ourselves to have been a part of.......except if the tw*ts f**k it up !! :o)

G.D.
You appear to be hinting that you have bought them at a slightly higher price than at present !!
The upside for you now is that you don't even have to think about selling them for the little money you'd get back so you can sit back and relax and watch the fun and games commence in the next month or two.

Watch out:

http://www.packexpo.com/ve/32887/newsrelease_6370.html

SCA Consumer Packaging, Inc., has built a machine called AERGO CP which offers two sealing technologies: Radio Frequency and traditional Heat sealing.

Is Stanelco involved?

do you know what the worst thing in the world is ?

World poverty?
Threat of terrorist attack?
Depletion of earths resources?

I think owning seo shares is pretty low down on my list.
Possibly because I've got a life. ;-)

Mad Pad - 15 Oct 2006 17:59 - 21456 of 27111

Antofelli ,did a bit of searching after your post and came up with Algus Packaging inc as well who offer RF sealing.Anyone know how Greenseal differs?apart from the fact that they seem to have been up and running for sometime and GS is still on the starting blocks. Will ask PM.

Mad Pad - 15 Oct 2006 18:17 - 21457 of 27111

Oily you didn't look the wrong side of 60 at the AGM maybe the last few months have taken thier toll.

G D Potts - 15 Oct 2006 19:30 - 21458 of 27111

yes tweenie you may be right terrorism certainly does worry me - but do you go on the internet from time to time and check how many africans died of hunger today, how many nukes the good old taliban have got, or if a peice of ice just melted? probably not, the 1st thing you do is whip up a quote of SEO to see if you are more broke than you were yesterday and then right some really interesting rumour that does not involve SEO to try and conjour up some hope that SEO is worth anything on this ridiculous thread of shattered hope ( let alone bank balances). so tweenie please enlighten me on your incredible life where you sit in bed quivering about world hunger.
OBE indeed i did buy when I belived this share was worth anything and sold the majority of my holding when those results of nothingness came out - however - I have just discovered that holding and cursing my luck for having to endure the painful comedy that is Stanelco.

greekman - 16 Oct 2006 07:38 - 21459 of 27111

OBE,
Thanks, and lets at least hope the sp stays stable this week.

RF sealing is nothing new - I searched a while back and located patents dating from the 1920's. In this case the use appears to be for blister packs, not food packaging.

hewittalan6 - 16 Oct 2006 08:01 - 21461 of 27111

Oblo, Anto,
I am sure we had this debate several million posts back. I acnnot remember how it started or who answered it, but I dimly recall that GS differentiates itself by not requiring a PE layer or adhesive, which I think the other RF machines do.
I cannot be certain of this, but it was definitely debated and there were considerable differences.
I am not as technical as many on here, and do not know if this is sufficient to uphold a patent claim, but it was deemed sufficient for the other RF machines to be considered not a great opposition as the benefits of GS revolve around those differences.
May be wrong and I can't find what I was looking for,
Alan

Mad Pad - 16 Oct 2006 08:05 - 21462 of 27111

Hi all PM reckons that this is low tech RF sealing used to seal clamshell and blister packs, not in competition with greenseal.
