Tom H daily market thoughts is pointing out that Euro against dollar has rallied 61.8% to 1.3315 since Oct 2000 lows. There is not a lot of EUR/USD history to go on but support should kick in soon.

He's just been on Bloomers saying 1.945 is strong resistance, but then the slide of the dollar will continue. So $2/ and $500 Gold sometime next year.

TomH may be right about the /$, but I'm not sure about gold. During the Cable surge, Gold fell from about 477 to below 450.
