Bobcolby - 02 Dec 2004 10:16 - 2155 of 11056

Good work T. I made 5 pips off earlier short at 9420, but closed too soon. (Again)

mg - 02 Dec 2004 10:20 - 2156 of 11056

Got double burnt yesterday going short into a fierce rise. Managed to get a few back this morning BUT - I thought the DOW was dangerous - this is FAR OUT !!

Bobcolby - 02 Dec 2004 12:23 - 2158 of 11056

Tom H daily market thoughts is pointing out that Euro against dollar has rallied 61.8% to 1.3315 since Oct 2000 lows. There is not a lot of EUR/USD history to go on but support should kick in soon.

hilary - 02 Dec 2004 12:25 - 2159 of 11056

Isn't Fibonnacci his middle name?

Bobcolby - 02 Dec 2004 12:30 - 2160 of 11056

No thats what he recommends as a hair restorer.

BrianTrayda - 02 Dec 2004 15:31 - 2161 of 11056

He's just been on Bloomers saying 1.945 is strong resistance, but then the slide of the dollar will continue. So $2/ and $500 Gold sometime next year.

mg - 02 Dec 2004 16:02 - 2162 of 11056

I was obviously far too early for shorting yesterday but gradually getting a good few points back today. Will have to get into the groove of this one - when it moves there are no prisoners taken !!

BrianTrayda - 02 Dec 2004 16:13 - 2163 of 11056

Citigroup give $/EURO at 1.40 during next 12 months.

MightyMicro - 02 Dec 2004 17:55 - 2164 of 11056

BT:

TomH may be right about the /$, but I'm not sure about gold. During the Cable surge, Gold fell from about 477 to below 450.

Interesting times . . .

Maggot - 02 Dec 2004 21:51 - 2165 of 11056

I've got a gold long on but on the day chart there's a bearish engulfing candle. Looks decidedly dodgy to me.

Tellon - 03 Dec 2004 07:07 - 2166 of 11056

Morning All,

Not to sure today, looks to me like Long Euro and Short Cable....

Not sure yet what to do..

hilary - 03 Dec 2004 07:15 - 2167 of 11056

No panic T, I'd say you've got another half an hour or so yet. USD looks a long against all the Europeans, imo.
