ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

What are you saying WOODIE is it time to take profit or there is more to come.any way i have followed this since it was 38p,and thats thanks to woodies comments, more will be appreciated.thanks woodie.

I really think it is overvalued at the moment, but the price of a share is only what a market makes it. A brand name (because of its intangiability) is so hard to value, but I know this much, a lot of the people I used to go to uni with shop on ASOS on a regular basis. It is getting a lot of good publicity and it is starting to raise cash... it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.

What you have to realise is this is an internet retailer that makes money, this was the holy grail a few years ago and here we have a company that has achieved it and is growing at a phenominal rate. Compare ASC to Last Minute.Com and tell me which is the most overpriced.

at thanks for comment at the moment iam not considering taking profits,my post no121 stated it is overvalued on current earnings but the market is forward looking, the growth story for this share over the neaxt 12 months should be one of the best in the market ie usa, europe taking orders from asos.there are also new products which will be good for the top and bottom line.the chart post 141 updates daily this will be a guide when the stock turns bearish,if you look from when the uptrend started there has not been 3 days of declines of any note keep watching the chart.hope this helps cheers woodie.

bosley - 27 Jul 2004 09:02 - 221 of 5941

like you said , very , very little red......+

WOODIE - 27 Jul 2004 10:36 - 222 of 5941

nice one bosley as you can see on chart it only as 2 down days in a row if 3 appear on the trot sentiment is turning.cheers woodie

Kivver - 27 Jul 2004 10:49 - 223 of 5941

woodie look at the pci thread (petroceltic soon to be 25p) there is a recent graph there with 3 reds in row then a big upswing, does that damage your three in a row theory?

bosley - 27 Jul 2004 12:49 - 224 of 5941

down 10% today. dont panic .

Kivver - 27 Jul 2004 14:15 - 225 of 5941

here we go, follow the crowd, go on sheep, sell your shares everybody else is. The foundamentals have not changed from yesterday you know. baaaaaaa signed watchmymoneygodownthedrain. im not bitter......much

WOODIE - 27 Jul 2004 14:35 - 226 of 5941

kivver no it does not had a look at pci chart it was stuck in 7pto 9p range for 3 months when the 3 red candles appear, the per cent move between top and bottom was not 30% even though it as since broken out.with asc the upside has been far greater therefore the downside on this stock will be far greater then pci.if people want to lock in profits they must have a game plan in advance each person must have ther own idea on certain stocks when to take profits take losses etc.as stated in my early posts i intend to hold this on a 1 to 2 year view by which time the buisness should be mature and share price should be higher then it is now.cheers woodie

Kivver - 27 Jul 2004 17:08 - 227 of 5941

Cheere woodie i agree, disappointed by the sell off today, but like you say people have to do what they have to. Surely this is a good model working well, i do not understand people wanting to sell when it is nowhere near what it should be. I also will be holding for the long term.

gallick - 27 Jul 2004 23:06 - 228 of 5941

Trading vols not that high today (1.95 mill) compared with 5 mill last Wed and 5.49 last Thurs. Makes me think it is not a strong sell off (yet). Share price has gone so high, not a lot of resistance on the way down. Tomorrow will be interesting!!

bosley - 28 Jul 2004 08:50 - 231 of 5941

price fluctuating a little. hopefully it will settle at this level for a while and steady up .

gallick - 28 Jul 2004 13:02 - 232 of 5941

Must admit I was slow off the mark. But I see the spread has now reduced! What is your rational for thinking 4-5 times share price growth ? Have you taken profits (ie are you in for free)?

Hi gallick. Come join in the talk on the TES board.

My reasoning is that I have looked at a company called gaming bourse that is almost the same, but 3 years younger and it floated at 10 times what TES was at at 20 odd p.. So I thought either TES is undervalued by 10 times or gaming bourse is overvalued by 10 times or somewhere in the middle. I am in it for the long term my friend.

Sorry for ASOS viewers to read this, I know you want to discuss this company only

bosley - 29 Jul 2004 10:58 - 234 of 5941

whoa!!!! steady on now.
