The Bullish Percent Index appears to have bottomed out.

zarif - 20 Aug 2004 14:21 - 2166 of 2279

Afternoon all:
Double witching day today so be careful. The expiry on the ftse was like a damp squid. Also remember that expiry on SNP happens on the open of the market.
I think we will most probably see a high in the first hour and then trail off. I hope to see decent volatilty so can scalp. The bias as far as I am concerned is a Downward market. I would not be surprised to see 1070 -1067 area on the SNP either today or Monday. If today closes lower than Monday is Lower again.
Thats my View and Yours may be different. Watch these EST Times (not GMT) for changes in trend. 9.50 -10am, 11.30 (hopefully will a Low) 12.25 and 1.30pm.

As usual let the market decide your actions not the other way round.

http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=^NDX&d=c&k=c3&p=m20&t=6m&l=on&z=m&q=c

Since breaking the range, the NDX is now having trouble getting
back above the 20Ma. IMHO, it needs to break though this for the
bounce to continue.
At the moment it's stalling around this level which is also
circa the Wed/Thu highs.

snoball - 20 Aug 2004 20:35 - 2168 of 2279

Do you ever use this chart Melnibone? It is quite useful. It shows the number of NASDAQ stocks above their 50 day ma.

Melnibone - 20 Aug 2004 20:54 - 2169 of 2279

Thanks for that, Snoball.

I'll have a check into that and see how it ties in with the NDX
swing charts.

yes your truly right snowball. lets hope for better pickings soon

zarif - 27 Aug 2004 14:17 - 2173 of 2279

Afternoon all:
The Dow has been playing in a narrow range and yesterday was in the 35-40pts range not enough to swing a cat.
So what are we going to get today?
With greenbum speaking at 3pm est i think so be careful.
I think it will head south in the morning session and then track north with low anaemic Vols and this could be till labor day.
Remember they are master thieves and u dont want to line thier pockets with your hard earned dosh.

The Bullish Percent Index is pretty convincing.
As is the NASDAQ.
Not forgetting November election.

All set for a Christmas rally?

afternoon.any thoughts today on the dow?

snoball - 31 Aug 2004 14:26 - 2178 of 2279

A downward retracement ( in the direction of the main trend )is taking place, orky.
I think.

snoball - 31 Aug 2004 22:36 - 2179 of 2279

LOL! Oh, no it isn't!

zarif - 02 Sep 2004 17:59 - 2180 of 2279

Hello everybody:
Snoball Thanks for keeping the charts updated.
Not much happening on the boards or the market in general. Stuck in a rnage and better to watch until takes direction hopefully downwards.
Shorting the mini rallies and scalping atm.
I think Tomorrow Might give us the answers -but remember seasonal weakness in stocks in Sept. I think will hit a bottom good style most probably after labour Day and Downward bias till second week in SEPT. Then track Upwards.
Thats my view yours will be totally different and thats what gives us perspective.

snoball - 04 Sep 2004 16:22 - 2183 of 2279

zarif, I thought I would show a wider view.
It's ok in my browser.
Fridays action looked rather bullish to me.
The Bullish percent is as well.
Next week should be interesting.

zarif - 13 Sep 2004 13:40 - 2184 of 2279

Afternoon all.
So what does the Ym have in store for us today?
My view is that today and tomorrow is going to make hugher highs and then trail off downwards till say 29th sept.
Also triple withching coming soon aswell so be careful.
Heard on the news that Hurricane Ivan may somehow bypass Florida Quays so those guys in Oil be careful as Gulf Of mexico oil rigs will be safe.
Idexes are climbing a wall of worry - so trade wisely and safely.
