Biodegradable peelable lidding film available
By staff reporter 9/10/2006

A biodegradable peelable lidding film made from corn starch is now available on the European market.

Rockwell Solutions in Scotland this week said its new BioPeel peelable lidding film can be used for trays and pots. The film is made from polylactic acid (PLA), a corn-based biodegradable polymer made by US-based NatureWorks. PLA is biodegradable and compostable. NatureWorks is part of Cargill and is one the main movers behind the biodegradable packaging trend.
BioPeel is a clear peelable PLA lidding or flow wrap film. Rockwell Solutions says it is suitable for use in chilled and frozen products such as fruit, vegetables, salads and sandwiches.

bhunt1910 ,

I came back on Easyjet flight 5166, i was the one wearing a white Tee shirt , combat trousers and glasses. stayed at Vera Natura.

bosley - 20 Oct 2006 13:17 - 21680 of 27111

we accidently wandered onto big banana beach in skiathos last year. thankfully it was clothing optional but we discovered that nudist beaches aint nowt like the brochures. i think people must get to a certain age, (over 60) and just think, " ah feck it!! let's wander around butt naked for a laugh". it certainly wasn't a pretty sight !!

aldwickk - 20 Oct 2006 13:32 - 21681 of 27111

Bosley,

I arrived on a Spanish bank holiday, and the beach was full of young Spanish girls. Dark hair and olive skins showing off their little landing strips.

aaaahhhhh... I need a holiday!

Given that there will be 2 billion shares in issue, 5p/share = 100 million. Why will SEO be worth this much by the Spring?

Mad Pad - 20 Oct 2006 14:15 - 21684 of 27111

Probably for the same reason it was worth 300 million not so long ago.Hype and potential future earnings, remember the Tech boom ,at times fundamentals have very little to do with the share price as we all know too well.PS I dont think "worth" is the right word to use in this context, maybe" market cap".

PATISEAR - 20 Oct 2006 14:42 - 21685 of 27111

Yo-yo time. SEO down GOO up{20%}.

queen - 20 Oct 2006 14:57 - 21686 of 27111

blackdown, don't know about 5p/share, but should certainly hope over 1.5p !

garyble - 20 Oct 2006 15:39 - 21687 of 27111

Blackdown,

there will be close to 3bn shares in issue....so it will be worth ~50% more!

hewittalan6 - 20 Oct 2006 16:38 - 21688 of 27111

Blackdown,
Just the results of lots of research, but funnily enough the info is there in the factual elements of the RNS's.
Check out the value of Starpol contracts, multiply by a sensible PE ratio and assume a little bit more than 2 basic contracts. You're there.
Not talking about any huge conversion of 000's GS, or dozens of Starpol contracts, or even factoring in any future potential.
And remember, the french and the pension funds do not invest in companies this small, unless there is a fair certainty of both large upside, and a good probability of deliverence. The risk on a small cap is too high for them.
As always, DYOR and don't take my word for it, my maths could be wrong.
Alan

Been away for a few days. Catching up.

The only post of any importance ( and I think it is of great importance) seems to be greeks no. 21678 - yet not a single comment on it!

Not being one to shy away from controversy, I have to say this board has gone very 'rampy' since 9th Oct and anything that could be detrimental to SEO is being ignored. Has PM1 been on a recruting drive since the RNS?

Alan, with respect (and I do repsect your past posting) - you used to take a balanced view but you've definately taken up the PM1 baton of late.

You say 'Just the results of lots of research, but funnily enough the info is there in the factual elements of the RNS's.'

Please point me in the direction of the factual elements of the RNS's over the past year or two if you would - I must have missed them! Do you mean the 200 Greenseal conversions, the deals in the final stages of completion ...... i'm sure I dont need to go on, you're aware of the numerous carrots given out in RNS's that never materialised!

And the research relating to your imaginery friend which you went on about for post after post - GS in ASDA early in September - so where is it?

Going back to greeks post - it shows how there are others out there with similar technology to SEO and that SEO's/Biotech's patents are not sufficient to convince them that SEO have a monopoly. It would have been nice to get back to balanced debate when the prospectus and offer was released, but it never happened. I hope its not too late, because all I'm reading here these days is hyped up ramping.

pinnacle - 21 Oct 2006 17:22 - 21694 of 27111

Sound like some people only want to hear what they want to hear!!

Would major investment houses take a stake without having confidence in the future?

Greenseal does NOT have any competition - fact.

Starpol - yes with Novamont and Natureworks - but different markets.

If some want to hear bad news then they will seek it and ignore the good - after all what sells newpapers good or bad?

Nothing can happen until the finance is agreed at the EGM - even though the EGM is a foregone conclusion.

I have not seen any hyped up ramping - just read the info available and you will find that the future looks a lot better than it did.

driver - 21 Oct 2006 17:23 - 21695 of 27111

oblomov
I agree there has been a bit of ramping on here but I don't think we ever thought that SEO had a complete monopoly, I do see SEO at a crucial stage in it's history it could go either way having said that it's a big world out there and even if a small slice of it goes to SEO then we will see a good return certainly from these levels.

"Some companies predict that the market will grow by about 20 per cent a year, as an alternative to petroleum-based packaging such as the widely-used polyethylene terephthalate (PET)."

driver - 21 Oct 2006 17:28 - 21696 of 27111

You want to see some decent ramping look what was posted on the other side.

Asda, Wal Mart, Sam's Club, Perseco, The Coca Cola Company, McDonald's finalising deals.

Stanelco and the above are finalising deals worth several hundred million pounds over a 5 year period further details will be released in the coming weeks. Stanelco expects this to generate revenues in excess of 98.7 million pounds in the first year. This could well turn out to be the biggest thing in packaging in the last 50 years, said Perseco. A new Tetrapak? No, Stanelco has gone from conception to commercialisation in just one year. A month ago it was struggling to fund itself, now its starpol line of products, its sealing system and its counterfeiting system will become the industry standard. This is not Tetrapak is ten times better.
