Thanks mcmahons....!.

mcmahons - 12 Nov 2008 11:14 - 219 of 544

Falling rapidly obviously bottoming out still a-ways to go yet 6p ish possible. However a bit of good News and a bounce is very likely with this one.

mcmahons - 12 Nov 2008 16:57 - 220 of 544

As expected - Central and Southern North Sea EnCore has been offered 4 licences that cover 5 blocks and partial blocks in the Seaward Licensing Round. 2 blocks have been offered under traditional licence and 3 blocks under promote licence. EnCore is expecting to operator on all 4 licences.
See RNS 16.37

cynic - 12 Nov 2008 17:20 - 221 of 544

in these markets, would doubt that this news will have much positive effect

mcmahons - 12 Nov 2008 20:50 - 222 of 544

Agree licenses on their own dont mean do do.
Still dont think its bottomed.

cynic - 12 Nov 2008 20:53 - 223 of 544

with NY down another 350/400, little has bottomed and many fortunes will have been lost ...... am glad i am long in almost nothing except IEC which is a special situation and am short WOS, CSR and WPP

news out today for encore oil, star energy is set to announce good results at next week meetinh in london baker street annual general meeting.

shadow - 14 Nov 2008 14:47 - 226 of 544

Bowstring details may be on course for encore oil, with announcements next week before the AGM. back to 30p for Encore oil.

dealerdear - 14 Nov 2008 14:52 - 227 of 544

Nope wrong again. MM's are playing games and have caught loads of people today thinking the sp was heading back to 12p+

3-6p is realistic.

mcmahons - 14 Nov 2008 15:07 - 228 of 544

you could be right shadow the Bowstring East drilling was to take 35 to 40 days depending on the usual weather constraints the News was released on the 15/16th October ? so it must close to complete if me maths is right so you may be correct about next week.

mcmahons - 17 Nov 2008 13:18 - 229 of 544

Shadow looks like you were correct about Bowstring I take me hat off to you !

cynic - 17 Nov 2008 13:21 - 230 of 544

a very conservative rns, or the amount of oil is minimal

dealerdear - 17 Nov 2008 13:25 - 231 of 544

and anybody buying now will fall right into the MM's trap as they short this down.

required field - 17 Nov 2008 14:34 - 232 of 544

Chaps, where's the bad news here ?, they have found light oil !, sp is up !....more testing to come later !.

cynic - 17 Nov 2008 14:57 - 233 of 544

where's the good news? - e.g. what sort of volume?

shadow - 17 Nov 2008 16:47 - 234 of 544

Encore oil is due an update along with broker statement in the aspect of 30p. The annual general meeting will stipulate this information Friday 21 November 2008. Distinc possability of reaching this 30p barrier this week.

cynic - 17 Nov 2008 16:54 - 235 of 544

distinctly no chance!

dealerdear - 17 Nov 2008 21:18 - 236 of 544

Please shadow, don't waste all our time with nonsensical statements that quite frankly make you look like a prat. Mind you, if you are really a MM, I can understand why you are trying to trap the innocent retail investor.

Are you that hard up for cash?
